is it wrong of me to think that all 'skinny' girls should be happy with themselves simply because they are skinny? im over 150 lbs and whenever I see a skinny-ish girl saying she hates herself, I get kindof mad :/

People don't have to love themselves because they look in a way you see as nice.
Just cause someone's skinny doesn't mean they have to be happy with themselves.

Well, i don't think you can be in love with someone you haven't really talked to ever or know well :b I mean, hell, you can hardly have even a strong crush on someone for three years that you don't really know D:
I definitely wouldnt not ask him out if you guys don't even really know each other.
If you're interested, just find his social media and add/follow him for a start. Talk to him casually when you can, just start out there.
Wait to ask him out until you guys actually know each other pretty well. Rushing into things is not the way to do it!
