honestly, all you could do was talk to him about it. it's always best to express your worries or them alone can harm your relationship. LDR are very hard, but if he feels the same way toward you as you do toward him, then who knows, it could last. Many LDR do work out. It's just a matter of joint effort. So definitely talk to him about it, and take your relationship day by day, try to live in the present.
