soooo we stopped talking around the first week of feb and later on i found out he planned this whole dinner reservation thing and he'd finally sing me the song he composed for me (DUDE, HE'S THE BEST GUITARIST EVER I SWEAR) and these roses thingy but that all went down the drain bc we stopped talking and um yeah.
i decided to give him space and we stopped talking. i graduated, he didn't come (later on, i found out he was supposed to give me flowers, yet again, and sing "beautiful goodbye" for me bc i was going to college somewhere else). he had his birthday, i didn't greet him. i had mine, he didn't either.
this is going to sound lame, but around 5/7 days a week, i have dreams where we already started talking again or whatever, and when i woke up, we hadn't.
then 5 months later, i chatted him and asked if we could talk.
he came over and we talked about what happened. i told him i was sorry and everything else. i told him what really happened and i apologized for being a bitch who couldn't show her feelings and he said sorry because he knew i wasn't ready, but he kept pressuring me instead.
and just as i was about to suggest "let's try again. third time's the charm, right?" LEGIT RIGHT BEFORE I SAID THIS, he said:
"sam, i met this girl."
aaaaaaaaaaaaand it's been almost two years and they're still together. :)

aaaand um okay i kind of ruined it when i told him i didn't want to get in a relationship yet? like, i have commitment issues haha and he actually understood that. so we knew we liked each other, we weren't seeing other people, we were basically a couple but we don't kiss or do couple stuff. we didn't even hold hands hahaha. we were okay with that.
then i had this friend of mine who kind of liked ash, and it just so happened that i was paired up with my best guy friend (who i call babe, because that's what we've called each other since junior year) on this dance thing. this friend who liked ash started telling ash about how i'm more suited with "babe" and ash kind of started feeling insecure about the whole thing.
i kept telling him i didn't like babe that way, but he was stressing about how i didn't even call him with a pet name and i was calling this other guy "babe." and idk i'm just that kind of person who's afraid to show affection? like, even when i'm jealous, i don't want him to know bc i feel like i'm showing too much of my feelings? i know, that's a flaw of mine, but at that moment, i really couldn't express myself.
so we started to have problems and um one time, we had a misunderstanding where i told him i was heading home first (his class ended at 7 pm) and i couldn't wait for him. but then my friends asked me to go grab some dinner and i agreed and uhh i couldn't tell ash about the change of plans bc all our phones were dead, and i decided to tell him when i get home.
he happened to see me in that restaurant. and he thought i was avoiding him for real. when i tried to explain, he wouldn't reply. i tried calling, chatting, texting, i went over to his house, he ignored me.
and we basically stopped talking. oops

it was new year's eve. :) we were playing league of legends, then since it was close to 12 mn, we stopped playing for a while to chat instead. (we're neighbors btw) and um so i told myself i should just say it and be done with it or whatever. soooo on fb i told him
"ummmmm this is going to sound weird but uhh i kind of have a crush on you okay bye" and i went offline
but he replied and said "what the fuck. i'm choking on some cake rn. i'll be there in 5."
and i was panicking because i knew he was coming over and everything and then he was outside and i refused to go past the front door (thankfully, my relatives were at the backyard setting fireworks off) and i didn't have to deal with nosy relatives. anyway, i was still somewhere by the door and he was still outside the gates and he said (non-verbatim)
"are you crazy or what"
"go away oh my gosh"
"i won't. come closer. you ruined the whole thing. i had it planned out already. there were supposed to be flowers and i composed this song and you had to ruin and beat me to it. so i wanted to say it first in person. i like you."

ohhhh ummmm okay. the closest i've got to having a boyfriend was with this guy who happened to be my brother's best friend. anyway, the first part of the story mostly involved him coming over at our house several times (i was 13, he was 14 then) and it started with a PS2 game.

my brother, him and a bunch of their other friends were playing naruto on the ps2 and no one could beat him. i challenged him and... I BEAT HIM (YES THIS IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE STORY HAHA). instead of being pissed, he was actually pretty happy about me beating him. and we were kind of at par with each other.
after playing, they decided to go play basketball and i didn't go with them bec i'm afraid of balls (uhhh) and when my brother got back, he went up to my room and tossed me a small toblerone (those 3 pieces thingy package) and said, "ash told me to give you that. a reward for beating him."
and uhmm since then, he started coming over more often and he would always give me stuff. even just a small piece of candy or a hair clip he "found and thought it was cute" so he bought it but didn't know what to do with it so i can have it. stuff like that.
but then sometime later, he kind of disappeared on me and started flirting with this other girl and i kind of didn't like him then, but i was still pissed for doing something like that, so i stopped talking to him for 3... years.
