*sending motivation to get you through the journal entries in Windfall* I really hope writing this will come easier for you, even if you need to put it on hold, since it's slowly creeping up the list of my fave wp works :)

calista!! the motivation is highly appreciated. <3 tbh it's not really that i'm not motivated to write windfall. it's more like i'm beginning to think how pretentious i am for thinking i can write through charlie's eyes, when i am not nearly mature enough to actually see the world as an adult (going through something like cancer, no less) would. so yeah i basicall feel like every journal entry i write seems... fake.

I think I actually reading that authors note before you rewrote thh, I think I had forgotten about it up until you said it again. Can I ask what happened with that guy later? I'm so sorry if this seems intrusive, I don't mean to offend you, so if you feel uncomfortable about it please don't answer

nah it's all right hahaha we don't really talk now haha. funny thing is it was his birthday yesterday and oh wow posted the bonus chapter yesterday so that's, like, coincidence much??? but yeah, basically, we haven't talked to each other in 2 years hahaha

hey sam, jst wanted to say i love thh and tpoce and windfall. the best part are the feels, i mean, i can literally sense the teenage confusion, drama, you know that 'grow up' equation that most of us are struggling with, so kudos to you, really. i hope to learn a lot from u.

haha had to take down the author's notes when i reposted it, but i did talk briefly about how yep, it's partially based on experience. but only really, really partially. as in, the thing with seth distancing himself bc he doesn't trust himself enough to be with kyla.
i first wrote thh when i was around 13 or 14, but stopped quite a lot of times in varying lengths of absences, but i only got around to actually writing it (from chapter 17 onwards, i think) when i was 15 or 16, because i was helping this guy "move on" *cringe* and i ended up liking him and he ended up liking me, and things seemed okay for a moment, but then he suddenly distanced himself and said he didn't want to make a move, bc he wasn't sure he was over his ex yet, and... yeah. that's basically it. hahahahahahahaha fuck it seems funny now that i look back on it. =))

The worst part is that even now, he’s not so sure he wants to get off.

a) photoshop
b) i didn't. the pic's like that on its own. however, i did stretch the one for thh. usually i do this by using the clone-stamp tool. i just try really, really hard to make it seem natural. :) i hope that helps!

Why are you so good ate? Huhu. Marami kasi akong naiisip na mga plot ng stories na confident naman ankong magugustuhan ng mga kapwa ko readers pero kapag ipuput into words ko na siya, di ko majustify yung plot. ?

I wanted to let you know that your works on Wattpad are so amazing. The level of writing that you have belongs in paperbacks and your books are so perfect and realistic and heartbreaking and beautiful. Keep making such wonderful books. Thank you for such amazing books filled with so many lessons.

this is so flattering. really, i still have a lot to work on until my writing becomes as good as people make it out to be but thank you so, so much! i hope to get there someday. :)

how do you get more people to read your story on wattpad? requests get on my nerves & I don't need my story to be super famous, I just want to know how to get it out there & have a good amount of people give it a chance/feedback. did you do anything specific?

i had it easy because when i was starting out, the share your story club still existed, and that made things like 75% easier for writers who were just starting out. i honestly don't know how to help you but i do know that it helps if you have:
a) a good cover
b) an interesting plot
c) some friends on the site (and i mean, real friends, not people you just befriend because you want someone to read your work)
also, read other people's stories and leave good feedback or something. chances are, they might be compelled enough to click on your profile and see your work (with its good cover and good plot). or they might end up being one of your closest friends. if not, well, at least you got to read a good story and ended up helping an author one way or another, which, you know, is exactly what wattpad is here for anyway.

omfg you have no idea how much i find this flattering???? i mean, i'm kind of struggling with it because it's a lot harder to write than my other stories so far, and every time i post a chapter i feel like it's always just sub-par and basically trash, so really, you have no idea how reassuring it is for me to hear this. thank you <3
