Okay, I have two… But they are from the same video game. 🤪 I think the soundtrack from the Last of Us 2 is absolutely incredible. Definitely one of those you gotta wear headphones to get the full affect. 🎧

My favorite has to be “Cycle of Violence.” It is just so intense. I love the beat, and I love how eery it is. And if you know the scene it goes with, it just hits even harder.

My other favorite is “Eye for an Eye.” I think this one portrays a lot of really high emotion, and again, if you know the scene, you just go back to it when you hear this song.

The entire soundtrack in this game sticks with me for a number of reasons, but namely because there isn’t just intense music for the sake of it, it immerses you into the scene, and it makes you feel something. You know that it’s intentional, which I think is why so many associate various scenes with them. Also, I just think Naughty Dog did SUCH a good job portraying depth of emotion, and how truly brutal that universe and the situations in it, are. 🥺😯

Juke Box Hero von Foreigner - Ein Mal weil die Juke Box natürlich thematisch gut zu einem Sohn von Apollo passt und auch weil ich Foreigner letztes Jahr live hören durfte. Zudem hat Musik in seinem Leben eine recht wichtige Rolle. Ray ist musikalisch begabt und mochte es als Kind mit seiner Mum Musik zu hören und zu tanzen. Er hält auch heute noch ihren alten Sony Walkman in Ehren.

no matter how much i outgrow and be at a better place, no amount of healing and apologies to myself can return that girl who was 19, 20, 21, 22 once, fighting for her life. like i didn't deserve that rite of passage. i am like i will give it all to be 19 again, to be 21 again and redo those years & extend myself all the love in the world. i hate it i hate it so much. with making peace w things, i don't seem to ever bring myself to be okay with the fact that i didn't have a nice girlhood, whenever i will remember being 19 or turning 23, I will always yet remember those bad birthdays, those melancholic new year eve's and those ugly lies. i won't ever forgive and forget that. i wish all too well very worse on the people who made me suffered, i hope in this very life they insha'Allah see their downfall and every misery coming back to them tenfolds. i wish they pay the price of destroying someone's whole sense of being each day. i am so okay and then this rage hits me up on a morning and i lose every ounce of my growth

С яркими эмоциями у меня в данный период откровенно так себе, но во время очередных проблесков-всплесков случается всякое, и тогда готова ловить буквально везде, где дают.

Часто могу восхищаться "по мелочам": красивые арты, душу выкручивающие песни, захватывающие истории в книгах и фильмах, точность и изящество чьих-либо формулировок. Как будто бы не так уж и значительно, но иногда hits the spot настолько, что остается только дыхание переводить, серьезно.

Восхищаюсь людьми. Тем, какие мы все разные, классные, каждый со своим багажом, способами справляться, мыслить, излагать и просто _быть_.
Природой с ее великолепной необъятностью. Городами с их собственными ритмами и звучанием. Миром вокруг себя со всем его несовершенством и противоречиями. Жизнью, как она есть, huh? Стоит лишь зацепиться за что-то...

Сказать честно, я радуюсь самой себе в те моменты, когда умудряюсь кем-то/чем-то восхищаться, поражаться, чувствовать — прекрасно обнаруживать, что я _еще живое_.

Из последнего... я просто сделаю следующий вброс, потому что мне хочется тыкать этим всех, кто готов слушать. Не так давно наткнулась на просто потрясающе оформленное издание ГП (от тех ребят, что занимались графикой и реквизитом на съемках фильмов). В наличии, правда, только первые две части, судя по всему, а собрать всю серию выльется примерно в продажу почки, но... в вишлист с неопределенным сроком выполнения я их таки отложила. I mean, вы посмотрите только, какие там фантастические иллюстрации — они же буквально ВОЛШЕБНЫЕ *-*
