ano karanasan mo nung pinag aaralan sa high school ang Noli at El Fili

To be honest, I never got to read El Fili, pero di ko inasahan sobrang nagustuhan ko yung Noli. Of course, medyo hazy na sa memory ko yung takbo ng story nito, pero I'd gladly read it again if I get the chance, tapos this time, sali ko na rin yung El Fili.

I don't think that's totally true. Factor din siya pero there's more to that pa. I think mas nasanay din kasi talaga ang tao sa ABS. While mas matagal na ang GMA, ang ABS mas na established nila programs nila sa tao. Tapos yun nagkaron na ng loyalty, people nag identify na as Kapamilya.
Kaya kahit naging competitive na eventually yung GMA, may reluctance pa rin yung ibang audience mag switch ng channels.

As for kulam, while its very idea is quite interesting and intriguing, I can say di talaga ako naniniwala sa mga ganun.

Basketball or Volleyball?

Basketball is my favorite sport, so obviously it's hoops for me. Pero parang medyo nahawa na rin ako sa mga friends kong basketball adicts din, pero gustung-gusto manood ng women's volleyball. Dami kasing magaganda na players din. Hehe! Saka exciting din yung action, in fairness.

Naalala ko lng noon, sa lahat ng circle of friends ko palaging may gc at surprise sila at ambagan pa para sa bday ng isa. & when it comes to me. Wala lang. Greetings minsan limot na kasi di ko nilagay sa fb ganon. Its been years pero i feel sad pa din sa bday ko pero ok lang. Normal day hehez. Sklpo

I think a successful relationship is not just one wherein the partners involved are happy and content. More than that, for it to be labeled as such, the two people in it should have brought out the best in each other, and their love and time together should have helped them grow both as individuals and as partners. In a sense, the two not only became one, but each of the partners became better because of the presence of the other.

Yes, growth comes from experience, and while our failures and disappointments can be devastating to us, in the long run, they help us find ourselves and ultimately make us better.
Plus, having to go through those dark times makes our joys sweeter, and our triumphs even more meaningful.

It's good that you'd at least still wish them well, and maybe, even pray for them in their afterlife. And while I would never wish for their demise, It'd be good to know you'll be more free to pursue your dreams and your happiness.

That approach can be good for promoting awareness, and for calling attention to a problem or an issue. However, at the end of the day, that would only be all bark and no bite.
Like you said, we still need to address the real issue and come up with more effective solutions if we are to progress and change.
