Hello, how do I get the verified badge here?

If I remember correctly, I tried applying for verification, and then they asked me to send a video selfie of me holding a sign with my username clearly written on it. They also told me to make sure I was using my real picture as my profile pic here. After a few days, my profile got verified. I'm just not sure if I filled up an application form of sorts at the start of the verification process. Anyway, if you go to the HELP section of ASKfm, you'll find all the information regarding the verification of accounts there.

Don't just look up to celebrities. Find inspiration in the love stories of your parents, of your relatives, and of people who have stayed together and are generally happy and contented in their relationships. In any case, not every love story has a happy ending, but there are those that endure. Ganun lang ang buhay, I guess.

Favorite kdrama atm and why?

Yung Twenty Five Twenty One. Several weeks have passed since it ended, but I still can't get over that Kdrama until now. In fact, it's not only my current favorite, but it has become one of my all-time faves as well. What can I say? I'm just a sucker for stories that deal with love, friendship, dreams, and life. Plus, Twenty Five Twenty One has just so much heart.

abolishing PACC is a radical move because it repeals the bureaucracy of the previous administration. Ombudsman and COA is there to investigate corruption

True. Ok na rin siguro to streamline things and avoid redundancy and duplication in functions.

I am scared that the LP might be doomed from losing since 2016

Any opposition to the current and previous administrations certainly faces an uphill battle in the years to come.

If I were Ilokano, I wouldn't be exactly proud of one of the names mentioned there. As to who, bigyan mo muna ako ng maraming gold bago ko sabihin kung sino. 😸

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signs Executive order No. 1, abolishing the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) and the Office of the Cabinet Secretary.

I highly doubt that. While military training may instill discipline, loyalty, and leadership, and helps make an individual sound in mind and body, I don't think the hardest and most intense training would ever change who you are inside. Yes, it may teach you to be more discreet, and to behave more in accordance with what's more acceptable to society, but it'll never change what you identify with as an individual, nor will it ever change the way you truly feel inside.

what's the most bad thing you did but it feels so right ?

This is pretty lame, but I think the baddest thing I ever did because it felt the right thing to do at that time, or rather, because I wasn't too concerned about the consequences it would lead to, was spending my college tuition money on drinking sprees with my friends. I knew my parents were working so hard to send me and my siblings to school, but I just couldn't resist enjoying myself with my aforementioned friends. Well, because of that foolishness, I had to take delayed final exams, and what's worse was that I had to get creative and find a way to ask for more money from my parents just so I could finally pay the remaining tuition fee balance I owed our school.

what's your most painful memory?

One would be that time my dad passed away. Everything just happened so fast, and before we ever realized it, he was gone forever. It wasn't easy to accept, and it took a while to come to terms with his sudden passing.
Another would be that time my mom had to run after me while I was boarding a jeepney on the way to school. I was quite upset that time because she wasn't able to give me the money I was asking for. As I was leaving, she decided to take whatever little money she had in our sari-sari store that day, and found herself rushing to give it to me. In any case, I consider that a very painful memory because I could never forget the look in her eyes while she was handing me the store money. It seemed she was feeling guilty and pained that she couldn't give me the amount I wanted, so much so that she never even noticed people were now looking at us. And here I was, acting all stubborn and refusing to accept the money, and feeling ashamed of the unwanted attention we were getting, wanting my mom to just go back home and leave me alone. Needless to say, to this very day, I can't emphasize enough how much I regret doing that to her, especially since I'm fully aware now of how much she loves me, and how far she will go for me.

Is it just me imagining things in my head and making up stories before I sleep?

Yeah, maybe it's just a case of you overthinking, and having an overactive and remarkably creative imagination.

Maybe because people have the tendency to take our goodness to them for granted, and when they're used to us treating them kindly, they expect us to always be like that, and so if we suddenly make a mistake and hurt them, that act gets amplified and earns utter condemnation. Kung baga, didibdibin nila yan kasi, in a way, that's like an act of betrayal on our part. And while they can always find it in their hearts to forgive us, they will never forget how we made them feel with that single act of ours.

It has to be 2-fold approach.

Oo, useless din if the teachers themselves are not fully invested in it. Tapos mga guro ngayon mostly Marcos and Duterte supporters din ata, then yung DepEd naturally very much controlled by the administration pa. So we should expect that the revisionism of history and the whitewashing of past sins will only continue.

when Americans became frustrated on Trump handling of pandemic, they voted Biden. Why PH is different

Sobrang idol kasi nila si Digong kaya to them he can't do anything wrong. Kahit hindi pa naging maganda yung COVID response as a whole, and it got marred by various controversies pa, his followers still vigorously defend him. In fact, the senator who led the senate investigation of the allegations of corruption in regards to the government's pandemic response lost in his reelection bid, with Duterte's supporters even mocking him for his loss.
It seems then that while Filipinos complain about our pandemic situation, majority of them don't equate that to a big failure on the part of the now former president.

sino artista gusto mo mahug habang naka bra o bikini

Haha! Di naman necessarily in bikini at kahit fully clothed pa. Anyway, if I were to make a list for that, it will surely include Chloe Moretz, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Alba (During her younger days), Han So Hee, Bae Suzy, IU, Kim Tae-Ri, Emi Takei, Angel Guardian, Klea Pineda, Liezel Lopez, and Julie Anne San Jose. 😸

Do we really move on?

I think it's more like we learn to accept things and be okay with them. And so we still get affected by them from time to time, and it still stings especially when we're suddenly reminded of what happened in the past. However, thanks to the help of time and our own growth and maturity, we are able to deal with it better this time, and we are able to shrug it off and go our way.
