What kind of conversation or topic do you think make you stop and pay attention to the person you're talking to?
Any topic that piques my interest, I guess, and that certainly includes books and stories I've already read or been meaning to read, music, movies, anime, series, Kdramas, animals, space, UFOs and aliens, mysteries and conspiracies, basketball, and even politics at times.
The series "Friends" and anything Avonlea-related deserve a special mention, though, I should say. And I certainly wouldn't mind hearing and Maritesing about pretty girls as well. 😸

Usually, mga tira-tira lang din naman ang pinapakain ko sa mga alaga kong pusa, though, at times, I do buy cooked fish from the nearby carinderia — inun-unan in Bisaya — or have my Mom cook tamban in the same manner for them. I also used to buy them canned sardines, but it seems they can't stand them now that they refuse to eat them na. Arte! 😅😸😅

You certainly have a right and a reason to be upset by his reaction, or lack thereof. The least he could have done, after all, was show some enthusiasm to your thoughtful little gesture. Should you decide to still give it to him then, I do hope he can be more appreciative of you this time around. More importantly, I hope that for the most part he actually treats you better than that, and that he realizes he's really lucky to have a loving and ever thoughtful girlfriend in you.
What do you think of those people who insult those they consider as loved ones during heated arguements?
When we're angry, we often say things that we don't necessarily mean or we might regret later on. However, I think there's a good chance too that when we're fuming mad, we end up showing how we really feel and what we really think about a person, and that's where those insults come in. Whatever the case may be, though, and whatever mood we may be in, there is no excuse for treating people badly, and it is never okay to insult and say demeaning words to anyone especially to one that you supposedly love.
