Have you ever cried watching a movie?

I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but I'm a bit emotional when it comes to movies and series. I easily get drawn to the characters and their stories, and I get affected by the most tender of scenes. So yeah, I've cried a ton watching movies, some of which aren't even the sad kind. 😹

How do you keep your sanity intact? #MentalAwareness

For one, I try to hang out with friends once in while. While I do love spending time on my own, I look forward to enjoying their company and doing things with them as well. After all, everyone needs to relax and have fun from time to time, and I'm no exception.
Then there's music too. It's my daily therapy and something I can never imagine living without. Listening to my favorite bands, not only do I enjoy myself, but I find that I can relate to their words and express myself more through their songs too. There's just no doubt that music is one of life's simple little pleasures.
I read books as well. Reading is my portal to another world helping me escape reality every now and then.

Like everyone they are entitled to their opinion and they have the freedom to express themselves. However, they should also respect the beliefs of the majority and follow the current health protocols in their rallies. Last time out, I think a lot of those protesting weren't wearing masks so there was an obvious health risk there. While they were simply being true to their beliefs, it doesn't mean they're exempt from the law, and it doesn't give them the right to endanger others.

Would you prefer to live in a city or in the country?

I'd prefer to live in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the urban setting, but hopefully not that far away to enjoy the city life once in a while.

What countries have you visited?

I've been to Qatar and I got to visit Hong Kong, which is a special administrative region of China, last 2017. Technically, I've been to Thailand and Sri Lanka as well as I had brief airport stopovers there. 😹

Rain gets us all nostalgic and emotional, and I love that. So yeah, I love the rain, except if it becomes an inconvenience and it affects my plans.

Is Marcos a Hero or Not? (I just wanna know your thoughts about this current issue)

For me, Marcos wasn't a hero. The martial law years were a truly dark time in our history. There were lots of atrocities and human rights abuses committed during that era, all while the late strongman held on to power, power that would see him seat as president for 20 long years. That surely is not the legacy and mark of one considered a hero.
Unfortunately, we Filipinos tend to easily forget, and worse, there has been an obvious and continuing attempt at whitewashing those crimes and abuses, and a revisionism of history in favor of the Marcos family. Hopefully, for the sake of our country and for the countless victims of that regime, the truth will eventually prevail and justice that has proven elusive over the years may yet be attained.
