Before the pandemic, I usually look forward to meeting my friends during weekends. We'd either hang out in somebody's place and have an overnight there, or go to a bar and a videoke to unwind and sing our hearts out.
Înainte de pandemie, de obicei aștept cu nerăbdare să-mi întâlnesc prietenii în weekend. Ori ne-am petrece în locul cuiva și am petrece o noapte acolo, ori ne-am duce la un bar și la un videoke pentru a ne relaxa și a ne cânta inimile.

Our country was under Spanish rule for 300 years and that started with the arrival of a Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan in 1521 who headed the first Spanish foray to the Philippine islands. The Philippines was subsequently named after king Philip II of Spain, and among the many infuences the Spanish had on our country was the introduction of Roman Catholicism.
The Philippines was also once an American territory, and was briefly occupied by Japan during the second world war as well.
Our country is also known for the historic 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution where through peaceful means a dictatorship was toppled and a new government was established.

If you've had the recent update of the app, yung personal questions makikita mo under the "Personal" tab ng inbox mo. Nakikita rin siya under the "All" tab, pero all personal questions may naka indicate naman na personal sa ilalim. The rest of the questions na wala shoutouts na.
By the way, I've noticed that new shoutouts also tend to show up on the "Personal" tab pag bago mo pa lang sila natanggap kaya it had me confused when I first updated the app. Need mo lang i-refresh pala para only personal questions show up there.

What are the three things that you cannot live without?

There's my family and friends, of course, but if we're strictly talking about possessions and other inanimate things, then here's my list:
1. Music - I just can't imagine a world without music. It seems every aspect of my life, every experience, every feeling, and every emotion I associate with music.
2. My phone - Let's face it. Whether it's good or it's bad, our world revolves around our phones now, and like everyone else, I bring mine everywhere I go.
3. Books (mostly of the e-book variety) and series - Books are my portal to a world so different from my own, and the series I watch provide a much welcome escape from the rigors of everyday life.

Ex. 1. Maayo ra pod. - Buti na lang din.

Yung "napod" or "na pod" more like "uli" or "again" in English.

Love is something that is natural and we don't have a true control over. Therefore we can't truly choose who to care for. We love someone even if that someone doesn't necessarily love us back because love is love, and true love doesn't depend on reciprocation.

If I didn't know exactly how old was, I'd probably feel like I'm in my early 20s, barely out of my teens, raring to have fun with friends, eagerly learning the ways of love, and excitedly embarking on the more serious part of the journey that is life. Fun times really.
Dacă nu aș ști exact cât de vechi ar fi, probabil aș simți că am ajuns la vârsta de 20 de ani, abia ieșind din adolescență, rar să mă distrez cu prietenii, să învăț cu nerăbdare căile dragostei și să mă angajez entuziasmat în o parte mai serioasă a călătoriei, care este viața. Definitely not trying. By not doing anything, you could find yourself spending the rest of your life asking why you never tried, and forever wondering what could have been. At least when you try and fail, it would be easier for you to accept that things weren't just meant to be, and you won't have a lifetime of regret knowing you actually tried.
Nu încerc. Făcând nimic, te-ai putea găsi petrecut tot restul vieții întrebând de ce nu ai încercat niciodată și te întrebi pentru totdeauna ce ar fi putut fi. Cel puțin atunci când încercați și eșuați, ar fi mai ușor pentru dvs. să acceptați că lucrurile nu au fost menite să fie și nu veți avea o viață de regret că știți că ați încercat efectiv.
