I can say casual viewer lang ako, and I'm not too obsessed with this so-called network war. Personally lang, I tend to lean more towards GMA lang kasi fan ako ng EB, and I really like Julie Anne San Jose. Saka favorite ko rin yung I-Witness.
These days din, aside from watching the news and a few select programs, parang nagiging largely background noise na lang yung TV pag nasa bahay kami. Puro online na lang kasi what with our cellphones and Wi-fi. May Netflix at YouTube din kasi, and we can easily download our favorite foreign series pa.

Banning foreign products in an effort to boost our own is not the right way to go. Global na competition ngayon whether we like it or not. If we want local audiences to fully embrace and support our own films and dramas, then we must improve our production and give our TV and movie watching public quality choices. Bakit nga ba ‘halos’ lahat ng Korean series puro doctor o lawyer o hari o reyna ang palabas? Ganun ba sila ka-social climber?
While marami ngang Kdrama na ganun, marami din namang hindi. Siguro yun lang mostly mas napapadalas ipalabas sa atin o yun mas lagi na napi-feature, pero much like western shows, Kdramas deal with various subject matters din. Kung baga, there's always something for everyone.

Maybe you can try making a play. Kunwari your friend wants to purchase something online, but he doesn't quite feel secure about making transactions online. Then you and your friends come in and discuss the subject matter with him. Tapos in the end you make a monologue summarizing things and giving your conclusion. Suggestion lang. 😸
