When you tell DDS that Duterte is corrupt, you won't hear a defense that explains he isn't. The usual response is "PNoy was also corrupt". That's tu quoque. When even Clarita Carlos' sleep talk is the truth to her followers because she's a UP professor, that's so verecundiam.
That first line reminds me of the comment made earlier by a pro- Marcos acquaintance of mine on an FB post that talked about the rampant corruption during the Marcos years. One time during one of our beach overnights in college, the sky just lit up and for a second or two there, the night had seemingly turned into day.
