How different is Christmas in the Philippines compared to other countries and cultures?
Well, for starters, we have the longest Christmas season in the world here. Once September comes, people start playing Christmas carols already and some even start decorating their homes this early in anticipation of the year's most awaited day.
Catholics here also have this yearly tradition of having a series of nine dawn masses starting on the 16th of December and ending on the 24th day of the same month. These masses are called Simbang Gabi and are passionately observed.
Then finally, we also have our midnight Christmas dinner called Noche Buena where family and friends gather to celebrate Christmas, enjoying a special meal, exchanging gifts, and staying as late as possible.

I'd rather live in a house haunted by friendly ghosts than be a ghost reliving my everyday life before. The idea of having some supernatural presence right in my own house is frightening, to say the least, but since by nature they're friendly and most likely harmless, then it might just be fun having some unusual company around.
