Pag ganun it's bordering on physical and verbal abuse na. Scolding kasi is not meant to punish and make someone suffer, but to enlighten them and show them the error of their ways.

For the most part, it's better living alone than sharing your apartment. You get to do things on your own, and you don't have to make a compromise as far as apartment rules are concerned. You don't have to adjust to your roommate either.

Of course, it may be a little more fun when you're sharing it with a very close friend, or you're actually living there with someone you love.

Golf, like baseball, is a game that seems pretty boring when you're simply just a spectator. it takes forever to finish with nothing much happening. I believe it's very different, though, when you're the one playing it.

By the way, I've learned the rules of golf through a video game.

Ah, how about dun sa Chats, mahirap din ba siyang mahanap?

Ang pinakaiinisan ko pa rin sa app ng Askfm ay yung nagsco-scroll down ka sa shoutouts tapos bigla na na lang binabalik sa pinaka-top kasi may bagong tanong o shoutout. Imagine ang layo na yung na-scroll down mo kasi you're looking for a certain shoutout tapos yun, you suddenly find yourself at the very top again. Uulitin mo na naman. 😸

'Di pa ako nasakay ng bus na ganyan na ang condition. Ang worst na experience na nasakyan ko ata is yung bus going to Baguio na walang aircon. Yung 'insan ko kasi nagmamadali at yun talaga pinara. Medyo lumang bus na rin kasi yun.

Siguro kung wala na talagang masasakyan at kailangan ko talagang umalis, baka pagtitiisan ko na lang din yang bus na yan.

No, since we can't simply decide to stop liking someone just like that. It's not a switch you can instantly turn off when you need to, after all. Besides, a part of me will probably be still foolishly hopeful that she'll eventually look my way.

In the end, though, I know I'd have to try and get over her no matter how long that takes. Even then, thoughts of her will still most likely linger.

We tolerate physical and emotional abuse claiming that all this is good for developing “character.” No pain, no gain. And we start with seemingly “mild” forms of abuse, forgetting how easy it is for the abuse to build up, spiraling into raging violence

I was with my neighbors last night and they had this engineer guy as their visitor. He was the father of two young girls, and at one point, he talked about how he disciples them. He said that whenever they misbehave badly, he would use a slipper to spank them once, then hug them, and explain to them why he did so. He added that as a kid, what he experienced from his parents was much worse, but he grew up alright. In contrast, most kids today grow up lacking real respect and discipline since parents are too lenient on them.

Thinking about it now, I think there's a big difference between discipline and abuse. Abuse should never ever be tolerated, but a little bit of tough love may be good in instilling discipline and character.

Most of the time, yeah. That's especially true when all I really want to do is look out the window and let my mind drift off somewhere. Of course, it can be a real bummer when you have an activity planned or if you need to go somewhere.
