Why do we always choose to like someone na wala tayong chance? But in my case, it was my first time liking someone and not having my feelings reciprocated (which is reasonable.) and that person not liking me back makes me feel more attracted to that person.
We don't really have any control over our feelings, and we don't really get to choose whom we'll like. And we usually notice people's physical appearance first more than anything else, so there's a really good chance we end up falling for someone who doesn't return our affections.

Why are we afraid of the conversations we need the most?
That's probably because we're afraid of hearing what we already know, and we don't want our worst thoughts confirmed. We'd rather keep safe and stay in denial than put ourselves out there and deal with the truth.

The fact that I was never totally pasaway, that I never gave them any major problem or worry, I can say then that I made them happy. I don't know if I made them truly proud, however. I guess that's still a work in progress.

To die in your sleep, I guess. They always describe that as a peaceful way to go. Or to be shot in the head, or to be in a submarine that suddenly implodes, or something like that where death seems mercifully quick.
