There is so much more to this life than our worldly needs. Plus God is supposedly closest to those that are in need and in despair.

Siguro they just want to know more about you through your friends since, as you said, you don't really open up to your family. Wala namang masama doon especially since it shows your family cares enough to be interested in your affairs. It comes off as rather annoying nga lang saka parang nakakahiya, and it leaves us feeling uncomfortable. Lahat naman tayo nakaka-experience ng ganun kaya ako nga minsan, ayoko sa bahay tumambay friends ko. Mas ok doon ako sa kanila, at ako yung tinatanong ng mga magulang nila tungkol sa kanila. 😸

Haha! I remember when I was in college we had this celebrity ( I don't recall who exactly) visit and perform in our university.
