Siguro you'd know someone is sincere in his apology through his eyes and body language. Pero pinaka sure way of knowing is through his actions later on, kung di na niya ba uulitin yung ginawa niya, at iiwasan na ba niyang masaktan ka pa uli.

That's like asking how to stab someone without letting that person feel anything. In short, there's just no way you won't hurt him or her by being honest with how you feel. Unless, he or she no longer loves you as well.

Tempting but no. It's not necessarily because it has a catch or some sort of consequence, though, that's truly a cause for concern. Rather, it's because I'd prefer not knowing, letting life unfold, takes its due course, and just surprise me at the right moment.
