Maganda sana kung totoo nga na wala siyang ambition to run for president in 2028. Kung magkatotoo man yang solar storm affecting internet connection worldwide — knock on wood — kakayanin ko naman kasi like you, na experience ko din naman noon 'yung wala pang internet at ibang-iba pa ang buhay ng mga tao.
Like most people now, though, mahihirapan din akong mag-a-adjust for sure lalo na kasi nasanay na ako having the internet around. Each and every day, I rely on it to check on my social media accounts, research stuff, read the news, watch videos, and listen to music. Definitely, my day would be completely different without it.
As I've said, however, kakayanin ko naman, and I know I can still make my day productive without the internet. I guess my biggest worry lang is that for a long time, I won't readily have access to real-time communication with my friends and relatives who are in different parts of the world. That without a doubt would be the saddest thing about it.

Not totally, I guess. I mean, normal lang sa buhay na good and bad things happen, na masaya man yung mga taong nanakit sa akin ngayon, darating din yung panahong sila naman 'yung masasaktan. It may not necessarily be karma, of course, or the universe giving them their due on my behalf, but just the natural course of life happening and taking place. Still, the possibility of that making them think back and reflect on how they treated me isn't entirely out of the question.

'Yung Desiderata poem poster na bigay ng mga friends ko sa akin during one of my birthdays. On its back they wrote their individual wishes for me. I think more than 10 years na rin yun. It was a simple but quite a meaningful little gift, and 'til this very day, iniingatan ko 'yun.

Seriously, though, I think the last time I truly felt alive was when I met my friends last week. We haven't seen one another in months so it felt truly good just to be together again and having fun like we always used to. Laughing together, telling stories, sharing hopes and concerns, and just knowing we're all on this together, now, that's what being alive is.
