It is only right to honor our parents, but it doesn't mean we'll just stay silent and agree with them if we feel they are in the wrong. They raised us to be good Christians (if ever Christian ka) and responsible citizens so as such, we need to speak out when we see something that doesn't conform to those ideals even if it's, sadly, our own parents we are speaking out against.

My best friend. I don't really necessarily talk to him and open up about specific problems, but I just simply seek out his company, and everything will eventually be better.
I guess it's really just nice to have someone to talk to, you know, someone who understands you, and someone you have this rare connection with. The nice thing is, we're way older now, but it seems when we're together we still talk and act like those immature and wide-eyed kids we were once, and for me, that's pretty fantastic.
So yeah, I don't have to pour out my heart to him to feel better. For us to talk like the old friends that we are is enough. Sabi nga sa isang kanta ng E'heads, andito ka ay ayos na.

What is your favorite holiday of the year?
Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. Although its magic and its hold on me has certainly waned as I got older and older, it nevertheless still excites me as this is the time of the year when families usually get together, and celebrate that unique Christmas cheer, culminated by this big feast at midnight. Those lights and glitters, and those ever timeless Christmas carols that accompany our yearly celebration are a big plus as well. 🎄
Maganda ba ang walking dead? Creepy ba sya or disgusting?
I'm a fan of the series, and even its spin-off show "Fear the Walking Dead." I don't think it's really creepy, though, there are episodes that play out like some horror movie. Most of the time, it's really more of the action and survival variety as there's a lot of human conflict involved aside from the ever pressing threat of the dead.
On whether it's actually disgusting or not, I can say it is as it has a lot of blood and gore, and our merry band of survivors sometimes do despicable acts as they are constantly forced to push the limits of what is right and wrong.
Now kung maganda ba siya, masasabi ko the series was at its best when it focused more on the survival and desperation of people as they faced a world taken over by the dead. Medyo lumamya siya when it became a battle of different human factions with the zombies regulated more to the sidelines. Not that there are no memorable villains and interesting conflicts, of course.
Overall, maganda pa rin siya for me. It's on its 11th and final season na nga, and here I am still watching it.

As her son, I will still give her, her due respect. It won't stop me, though, from telling her how I truly feel about her decision to join the side of the Uniteam, and it certainly won't stop me from expressing my own thoughts and beliefs even if it means hurting not only her candidacy but her feelings as well. In the end, I only hope she'll understand me and see where I'm coming from, and that more importantly, she'll get to reflect on her recent decisions and reassess her ideals.
