i disagree with the common notion that parents always know what is best. they are also humans and they made wrong decisions for their kids. the best parent allows their child to explore and learn from their mistakes, they also know how to listen to younger gen because they are not always right

I agree. Our parents aren't right all the time, and they don't always know what's best for us. Tao lang din kasi sila, and as parents, they're actually learning, and struggling as they go along raising us.
Yung matitinong parents, however, they always have our best interest at heart. They may not always be right, and their approach at parenting might not always be the most ideal, but they're trying because they truly love us.
And I do think as well that the best parents are those who allow their children to explore and learn on their own while they stay close by ready to guide and help them anytime, and at the same time
are willing to listen to what their kids have to say.
