what's the verification tick for?
I think it's kind of a reward or distinction given to select users that serves as a badge or proof that they are indeed the users they say they are. Usually on Twitter and other socmed platforms, it's given to celebrities and known personalities to identify the authenticity of their accounts. I don't know if that same line of thought applies here on ASKfm's own verification tick though.

Not sure but I had this close female friend in college who began avoiding me one day. Later I learned from common friends that she had developed feelings for me and was avoiding me since I was courting this other girl already. She would later send me a letter not exactly expressing her feelings but telling me to be happy and not to worry about our friendship. Anyway, after a while, things went back to normal and we started hanging out together again. A few years later we'd both learn to laugh at that whole thing as if it was no big deal. ?

We all have our value and everyone's lives matter so that definitely is going to be a yes. True, not everyone may appreciate us, but we matter to our family and friends, and most of all to God. And just for me to get to live and breathe and experience life, and be able to share all that to people that truly matter to me, then it surely it is worth to be me. ?

Good thing may former ask user na friend ko sa other socmed na nag advice sa akin na dapat di ko problemahin mga ganun, that I shouldn't let things like that affect me. Importante alam ko sarili ko wala akong ginawang mali and if they can't appreciate me for who I am, di ko na problema yun. Natauhan ako dun. ?
