Biriyani or Pizza?

I like pizza, but I truly miss that biryani chicken I always used to have when I was in Doha. #NowCraving
Biriyani or Pizza

please recommend a movie or a kdrama for me to watch hehe ( comedy or tragic sana)

"Unforgettable" or "Pure Love" as it's known in Korea. It leans more on the tragic side. It stars Kim So-hyun, by the way.

People you may like

Who are you most inspired by? Why?

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
I'm most inspired by the most ordinary people who have the most extraordinary stories to tell and some of the most important lessons to share. They don't have the easiest of lives, and each new day for them seems harder than the last, and yet they continue to persevere and soldier on.

Just to be sure to vote pa rin for the candidate your heart and mind are telling you to vote for.

i also asked someone directly kasi nung nagreply sya via thread, pero dahil madami snobber dito at gusto lang magshoutout di ako pinansin tapos yung isa nagreply pa uli via thread

Ganun pala.

Have you ever visited a fortuneteller? Why yes/why not?

nai269549’s Profile Photoʟᴇɪᴀɴ ♕
Nope, I've never ever visited nor, more so, consulted a fortune teller so far in my life. It's just that I've never really had the opportunity to do so. Now, while I don't really believe in them, and while it's often discouraged in our religion to participate in any act considered unchristian, I think I'd still consider seeing one in the future just for some harmless fun and experience, of course.

What part of your culture are you most and least proud of? 🙂

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
I love the fact that we are a reselient people, and that no matter how hard and discouraging our situation is, we still find it in our hearts to smile and more importantly, we still learn to live and hope. We also have what we call the bayanihan spirit, wherein people in the community are always ready to help and support one another. Then we are known to be closely-knit, very family oriented, and deeply religious and spiritual as well.
On the other hand, some of the things we aren't really proud of include our Mañana habit, which is our tendency to procrastinate and wait for a later time to do things, the crab mentality that illustrate our jealousy to others' success and happiness, and our seemingly misplaced sense of loyalty (bordering on fanaticism) to famous or infamous names and entities, which is now on that very alarming level what with national elections coming up early next year.

What would the world be like without religion?

nai269549’s Profile Photoʟᴇɪᴀɴ ♕
Without religion, the world would be alright still, I believe, for people have this innate goodness in them, and it's still possible for us to have faith in God or any supreme being even without it. It certainly wouldn't be as defined, as organized, or as structured as what we have now, but maybe it would be one that's pure and truly focused on the things that really matter. And no organized religion, no religious conflicts, and no religious persecutions as well.

If you were going to be in an action movie, what story would you want? 🕵️‍♀️

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
I would want it to be a movie about the triumph of justice over unspoken evil. It shouldn't be merely intense and action-packed, though. The film's story should have heart and depth too, that it may not only make for a fun and entertaining watch, but would prove inspiring and thought-provoking as well.

Hello sino po nanunuod ng BL movies dito. Normal po bang babae ka tapos nakakaramdam ka ng kakaiba pag may scene sila. Hindi po ito bold.

Di ko alam eh. Di kasi ako nanood ng ganun, saka di rin ako babae so I can't really help you out on this one. I'm sure, though, that there's a lot of female ASKfm users out there who can answer this question better for you.

I feel so left out. My friends already have their own jobs starting their careers and having the time of their lives but here I am, depressed, heartbroken and still figuring out my life.

Don't feel too left out and don't be so hard on yourself. Remember, life is not a race and there's no one path to success. Your time will come, and yes, you will eventually figure things out. Continue trying and have faith in yourself. 👍

What period in history had the best fashion?

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
The '60s, I think. Looking at pictures and videos from that era, we might not exactly like seeing ourselves dressed up in that kind of fashion today. We have to admit, though, they were fantastically groovy, and we'd definitely think they were cool if we had only been kids in that period of history.

Sumama ka ba sa caravan kahapon ni BBM? #yeastnayeast

Nag caravan ata sila dito sa CDO pero syempre di ako sumali coz there's no way I'm voting for them come 2022. Of course, as insignificant as I am sa campaign nila, di ako kawalan sa kanila for sure. 😹

that question was not just directed to you also for other users. barking at a wrong tree for a purpose

I see. I must have thought you included me among the people you asked that question personally to, that's why I decided to reply to it. I was checking out the Personal tab kasi pero baka nagkamali lang ako, at shoutout pala yun and not exactly a direct question. Sorry about that. 😁 Pero no worries. At least, I'm aware now that the ASKfm user experience on the app is a little different from that on a browser.

can you pls be mindful of other users here who dont install an app, instead of replying from a thread you can ask a separate question

Oops. Sorry about that, but I've never really tried using ASKfm on a browser before, so I had no idea there's a problem with threads there. In any case, should you ever answer one of my questions or shoutouts in the future, maybe you can indicate it there somewhere that you're not using the app. That way, I'll know what to do should I feel like making a reply or a follow-up question.

bakit natanong bra kay yorme

Bisayan expression yun that means a guy is so hot a girl's undergarments can just snap and break (bugto) on its own. Something like that. 😹

List some of your favorite songs and write why you like them? 🙂

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
"Black" - Pearl Jam
~ Emotional and heartbreaking, you can just feel the pain and the anguish on this one.
"Three Libras" - A Perfect Circle
~ I love the emotional feels on this one as well, and when Maynard James Keenan delivers the line that says, "You don't see me at all," it simply resonates with me.
"One" - U2
~Just one outstanding U2 classic, gloriously hopeful and positive.
"Outside (the acoustic version from the Family Values Tour) - Staind (Aaron Lewis feat. Fred Durst
~Aaron Lewis' voice pretty much gives me goosebumps as he bears his soul and performs this song live with a mere acoustic guitar for accompaniment. I'm truly a sucker for songs with emotions, that much is true.
"Hunger Strike" - Temple of the Dog
~Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder, two amazing voices in one haunting song. I can't ask for more.
"I'm Broken" - Pantera
~Hard hitting and bone crushing, this is easily one of my favorite Pantera songs.
"Let Me Drown" - Soundgarden
~Just one awesome Soundgarden rocker.
"Take The Power Back" - Rage Against The Machine
~RATM just being RATM. 🤘
"Shoots and Ladders" - Korn
~I love how they turned popular nursery rhymes here into something dark and angry.
