Would you rather have to make a one-minute speech in front of 10,000 people or have to kiss a frog?

I get stage fright just speaking in front of a few people, so I can't imagine for the life of me standing before an audience that's 10,000 strong. I'd rather kiss a frog then. Who knows, that frog might turn out to be a cursed princess of extraordinary beauty. 😻

Mahalin natin ang Pilipinas kahit minsan ang hirap nitong mahalin. And no need for burger na.

What is that thing that makes you happy? A. Seeing an old friend/s B. Hearing a song that reminds of your past C. A bit of good news for loved one or friend D. Eating comfort food E. Looking back at old photographs

All those things make me happy, of course. Among them, however, it's seeing old friends that makes me happiest. Learning good things about loved ones is always welcome, and you can always listen to nostalgic songs, look back at old photographs, and eat comfort food to your heart's delight. It's not everyday that you get to meet old friends, though, and relive for real the friendship and the camaraderie you have with one another.

Parang yung mga kaklase ko before na kilala ko sana as smart and empowered women, ngayon nakikita ko sila sa mga posts nila na tinatawan yung mga naglalabas ng damdamin nila sa naganap na halalan. To add further insult, sinasabi pa nila na huwag na lang daw patulan kasi mga bata pa, as if being young means you can never be right.
Now, while I don't necessarily agree with all these protests kasi tinanggap ko na BBM won, di naman siguro tama i-ridicule ang pagpapahayag ng saloobin lalo na ng nasa youth sector. At saka I'm one with the tweet that educators should find fulfillment if students learn to speak their minds and become involved in important issues concerning our country, instead of telling these young minds to simply shut the hell up.

Because it's no laughing matter being hurt and betrayed especially by people you love and trust. Relationships aren't built overnight, and trust is earned so it feels quite devastating when someone simply fails to value that. And since that hurt is deep, fixing that damage and building that trust again wouldn't be so easy.

It's great that the youth seem to be more involved in political talks and in the nation's affairs. Sadly, some of them are easily swayed by false information they see on social media and the world wide web in general.

School was fun and certainly very worthwhile, but it wasn't always easy, of course. Not only was it a struggle to do well in my subjects especially in college, but the shy and silent type I was (and still am), I had a hard time adjusting to a new environment and a new group of people as well. It was a good thing then that I would eventually meet people who would become my lifelong friends.
It was also a bit of a challenge being somewhat independent as I had to live and board away from my family. It took time to learn to discipline myself as well now that I didn't have the daily guidance of my parents.

Siguro wala sa isip nila yung ganun, o di nila alam ganun effect sa kids nila. That doesn't make it okay, though, lalo na if they're already toxic and abusive to their kids to start with.
