What do you think of the "War on Drugs" campaign?
Our country's drug problem is truly quite serious and so our government's war on drugs is important in helping curb that. That said, though, I think our current approach with regards to this problem needs to be thoroughly re-examined and re-evaluated.
We need an anti-drug program that is not anti-people and anti-poor, something that is not as bloody but is highly effective. And that program should focus more on catching the big fish and the source of the problem, and not one that is contended slaughtering small fry.
