Can we like stop using squatter and squammy as an insult? Some of the most generous people i know are informal settlers. Hindi naman based sa kawalan ng tahanan ang ugali ng mga tao. Madami rin naman mayaman ang masama ugali, syaka posible na napulot nyo yan sa mga matatanda
I certainly agree with that. Our status in life has generally nothing to do with our character and behavior. In fact, the rich and the highly educated can be at times just as guilty of displaying inappropriate and unacceptable behavior as any random guy in the street. The truth is that how we treat people really all boils down to our personality and the way we were brought up growing up.
Saka using terms like "squatter" and "squammy" only goes to show how we tend to look down on people with lower stature, and that isn't exactly quite an honorable and desirable way to behave.

To Alex and company, it was all a harmless act, parang biruan lang in the spirit of fun. Yun lang, di naman nila close yung server, at parang nagawa pa siyang katatawanan tuloy. I think so. I mean, Friends ended years ago, but I still love rewatching it over and over again. Then there are old movies, kdramas, animes, and other shows that I'm either rewatching or discovering just now. And when it comes to music, my playlist mostly covers older stuff, especially ones I listened to during my college years.

Yung international beauty contest triumphs wala naman yan sa kung sino yung naka-upo sa Malacanang, pero I guess it's fun to have that kind of narrative lang. A president, past and present, can boast of having a Filipina win the Miss Universe crown during his term, but at the end of the day, that victory has no connection whatsoever to his presidency and the legacy he will leave behind as our head of state.

One splendid Kdrama. I didn't exactly get hooked on the series right away, but it did totally grow on me after the third episode, and now I can say that among the shows I got to watch last year, it definitely was one of my favorites. Truly highly recommended for Kdrama lovers.
