Di na natin ata maalis sa Pinoy yung ganung reaction sa may mga afam. Naka ingrain na ata sa systema. Marami din naman kasi naghahanap ng foreign partner na ang sole purpose ay para makaahon sa buhay. Yun lang, nadamay na rin yung mga katulad mo who are genuinely in love with their non-Pinoy partners. If only people don't make sweeping generalizations na kasi ganun yung iba, ganun na rin lahat.
Siguro, piliin mo na lang yung pagsasabihan mo pa, tapos make sure they understand na you truly love your partner and vice versa. Doon sa mga napagkuwentuhan mo na, dahan-dahanin mo na lang ipaalam na you're in it for love and not for something else.

I used to be scared of being alone. Now, I do things on my own (sometimes) — I eat alone, I go shopping alone, heck, I even watch movies by myself. It's not as bad as it sounds actually! There's beauty in finding happiness in your own presence. 😌✨
Me, being mostly into the introvert side, I must say I do like spending time on my own and enjoying my own company. There's just a certain joy and satisfaction to be away from the world and just be alone with your own thoughts. However, I do love spending time with my family and friends as well, and I certainly welcome the times when I'm with them.
Anyway, it's good that you've learned to enjoy things on your own, and not be scared of not having company anymore. Like I've said earlier and as you've stated so yourself, there's a beauty in finding happiness in your own presence, and there's this certain joy and satisfaction in being alone with yourself and your thoughts, and I'm glad you got to discover and experience that.
By the way, I used to watch movies on my own back in my early college days, and I didn't mind not having any company at all. Then I eventually got used to going to movie cinemas with friends. I swear, though, I still enjoy doing a lot of stuff all by lonesome. 😸

I didn't watch her vlog, and I don't really know much about her so I'm not really sure what to say about this. On one hand, it's nice if she truly hasn't forgotten her humble beginnings, and if she has kept herself grounded in spite of her fame and success, so much so that she's decided to celebrate her birthday by remembering where she once was. On the other hand, baka ginawa lang talaga niyang mere theme and gimmick for her birthday yung living in poverty, and that would be wrong especially since it seems it's being insensitive to people who are going through this kind of life. Pwede naman kasi niya i-celebrate na lang sana yung special day niya by inviting the needy and doing an outreach program. Baka mas ok pa yun.

Ideally, it would be nice if we could visit local destinations first and experience what our country has to offer. The Philippines boasts of topnotch tourist attractions, and 7,100 different adventures await us in every turn, so it would be a real shame if we, our country's own citizens, miss out on them. However, any opportunity to travel somewhere, whether locally or internationally, is always welcome, of course.

Definitely no. Having a broken family and coming from such a background neither defines who a person is, nor does it make him or her any less.
Adopt stray pets or buy expensive pure breed instead?
Adopting stray pets. While it would be truly (p)awesome to have pure breed cats and dogs (Personally, the dog I wanna have is the Golden Retriever), adopting pets and giving them a much welcome forever home could be just as satisfying. They may not necessarily have the pedigree you can show off, but they can give you pure love and sheer joy just as much as any expensive pet can. More importantly, though, you'd be doing your part in helping animals in need, and in helping put a stop to the senseless breeding of animals for profit.

She's currently abroad, and she asked me to order them for her since the shop owner was her good friend back in her high school days.
