What is your favorite and least favorite food?

Favourite: pizza, ice cream, pasta
Least Favourite: mushrooms, black olives, onions

@TwoInTailoreds 100% mine. She said the stubben one specifically (more like scuba material as opposed to the professional choice neoprene) would pinch and irritate him. I'm such a weenie, so to avoid confrontation I returned it ?

Jessica
Oh dang, yeah I know what you mean about confrontation. Lol you could always use the girth you want when you're not in a lesson? ??

Why does Rumour get high fat grain??

Because he's in moderate work. Pretty much all the horses at our barn eat it to keep their weight up! ?

You have to see the Harry Potter polo wraps on Instagram! They are on "The_Preppy_Polo"

Haha OMG those are awesome! Our trainer would probably die if we put those on Rumour though! ?⚡️

@TwoInTailoreds Yea it was the weirdest thing..I bought a neoprene stubben girth. She seriously wouldn't let me use it and said to return it. I rode western before and swore by professional choice. When I crossed over to English, it was like learning an entirely new language.

Jessica
That's really weird, I wonder what her reasoning is for that. Is it your own horse? Cause I would just do whatever I want then! ??

How do you like your ventech girth? My trainer gives me the stink eye when I mention getting anything other than leather/sheepskin ?

We love it so much! Really!? Aha that's funny. I thought most trainers didn't like sheepskin girths because they can make it hard to keep your leg on properly. Everyone has their preferences but if you like sheepskin I think you would love the ventech girth because it's super soft and stretchy for the horse's comfort but is low profile so it won't get in the way like a sheepskin girth. Just my opinion. ? It's also 100 times easier to clean!!

what would you pay for this horse: mare, 9 years old,16hh has done dressage including tests, and has jumped up to 80cm with me.good to trail ride and has very good ground manners ridden up to 6 days a week

It depends where you live but in our area a horse like that might go for between $4000-$10000 maybe?! ?

Suggestions for calming show nerves?

Try not to have high expectations. If you go with the mindset that you just want to have fun and learn new things with your horse you don't have as much to be nervous about! Also, just be prepared.

Fav color and lest fav color?

Fave is grey, least fave is orange. If you meant colour of horse, I like them all!! ?

What is the worse thing that you worked through with your horse?

He used to do this thing where he would pull his head down in the canter to make you unbalanced/pull the reins out of your hand but he learned pretty quick that it didn't work! ??

whoever said that their horse bucks into their canter, my friends horse kept doing that and she would only do it when we went to the left. she could be a little soar or feel uncomfortable going that way. :)

Yes I agree, bucking when going into the canter can be a sign of pain or soreness in your horse. It can also be behavioural, and a way for them to try to get out of cantering if you let them stop when they buck.
