How many pairs of boots do you have ? Tall boots /short boots brand ?
Only one pair of paddock boots and half chaps. I guess I technically have two pairs but one pair is ready for the garbage. I also have Dubarry boots that I wear to the barn but they aren't for riding.
Any tips for breaking in new tall boots ??
Wear them around the house a lot. Try to really flex the ankle part, you could even do that when they aren't on. Oil and condition them to make the leather more supple.
Hey! I have this project for school and I have to make a graph anyway, there are three questions! 1. How long have you been riding 2. Fav breed of horse 3. Fav riding brand Thanks! :)
1. 3 years 2. Swedish warmblood 3. Tailored sportsman
not a question but i just wanted to say that you guys are my favorite youtubers along with grace! you two have perfect equitation that is to die for and youre both so pretty that it makes me want to cry ♥. also rumor is lovely. i know that you two will go far in your riding. stay rad ✌! xox
That's so nice of you to say :) thank you so much but we have far from perfect equitation. Thanks for watching our videos and we are glad you enjoy them :D
Actually he was also owned by one single girl for like 6 years.. So...
Why are you telling me this as if I don't know these things? I have all his paper work I know how many owners he's had.
Every horse at NSEC is used in a lesson.. I'm pretty sure ALL horses in most barns are used in lessons... Rumour was an owned horse, that a few girls would lease from a private owner, he wasn't owned by the barn or the school horse string. Lol. So he wasn't a school horse.
I am aware of all of that as I own him. Yes he had an owner that was not NSEC but she never rode him and he has pretty much been ridden by different leasers in lesson programs for the 8 years he lived there. It's not like one leaser rode him the entire time. When one person out grew him the next girl in lessons who wanted a lease would ride him. Let's not argue over a term. No he was not owned by the barn but he was used by riders in their lesson string.
you guys and ruu are so cute!! I'm so happy you bought him he deserves a great home like you guys!!
Thanks so much! :D
Rumour was never a school horse lol
He was leased by three different girls that were in a lesson program, sounds like a school horse to me.
when will the next vid probably be up? no pressure!!! :) love u guys. how's rumour? good luck correcting the biting situation. I think he probably got away with biting because he was a school horse, but now that he has a consistent pair of riders who will take it seriously he'll stop.
We're in the process of filming one! It will probably be up on Sunday or Monday. Rumour is doing good :) yes you are probably right about the biting, he hasn't done it again so that's a good sign :P
What's the difference bw full seat and knee patch?
Literally never seen an actual person wear those before.
Do you wear full seats or knee patch breeches?
Does tailored sportsman even make a full seat?! ;)
What are some grooming supplies I can start getting myself even though I don't have my own horse yet. I ride a school horse and they have stuff but I'd like to start building up my grooming tote :)
I would just buy whatever you want! But start with the main things like a hoof pick, curry comb, soft brush, hard brush, face brush, mane and tail brush
It's going to be 60-67 degrees F tomorrow and I don't know what to wear to the barn. Any ideas?
I only operate in celcius
Oh gosh, just ignore the people down there, I'm not sure why everyone is making a big deal of it :/ anyway I LOVE your new tack trunk! Where did you get it? I'm looking for a new wooden one!
I don't know any, we got our saddle from iselltack.com
If you don't mind me asking, what degree do you both have in nursing? Associates, Bachelors or Masters? I want to become a nurse, but I'm not sure what degree I should go for. :)
We both have a Bachelors degree, I don't really see the point in getting a Masters unless you want to be a nursing teacher. You also won't get paid more with a Masters in most cases, but that's just in Canada it may be different in other areas :)
It looks like a nice saddle for the price. I would recommend getting a saddle that has a solid tree instead of one that has the changeable gullet system though as it will be higher quality and they are built more level etc. I like basically all french made saddles CWD, Antares, Devoucoux, Bruno Delgrange, buy a used one !
opinions on the waverly, devon and felix situation?
