how many pairs of scrubs do each of you have and what colours/prints are they?
I think we each have about four or five pairs, all greys anatomy brand, navy, teal, purple, red, magenta, blue, grey, I want to get more but they are expensive ?
To the person about the muck boots, I have the hoser ones and they are amazing!! Super warm and your feet never get wet! I even wear them in early fall and my feet don't get hot! I use them for barn boots and I could even ride in them because my western stirrups are wide lol
Do you have muck boots for the barn if so are there any you recommend?
We have Dubarry Galway boots which are amazing but a little expensive, Dublin makes a cheaper pair though that look similar! I think they are called River boots, We also wear Hunter rain boots but they don't keep your feet very warm and they make my toes feel vulnerable to getting stepped on ??
I'm trying a horse on Sunday. She is an 8 year old mare with jumping experience up to 4'0 under saddle!! Do you have any tips for trying horses? I'm really nervous?
That's exciting! My biggest advice would be to bring a trainer, if you can't do that then just ride the horse like you normally would in a lesson, do some small jumps that you're comfortable with. It's usually best if the owner rides the horse first as well so you can see how the horse behaves with someone it's used to.
Does the twisted peppermint candle smell Christmas-y and does it make the whole room smell (is it strong?) I want a good Christmas candle and I love the twisted peppermint perfume but idk if the candle is as good
Yes it's very strong! And extra Christmas-y ? I think the candle smells the best compared to all the other twisted peppermint things you can get
Ok I need help lately I am not satisfied with my riding, I would not say I am in a slump but I just feel like my riding is getting worse when it is not I am just not improving as fast as I used to ?? what do I do?
Keep trying! There have been lots of times for me where riding becomes not as fun because you just can't do something perfectly, but then one day you will finally figure it out! You can't be a good rider overnight unfortunately ??
There's not like one thing you have to do and then your horse will just magically be on the bit. Every horse and situation is different but the short answer is inside leg and outside rein. ??
So finally today my horse started to carry his head low!!!! I'm so proud! (he was carrying his head like a hunter under saddle like on the bit and very low!!) he was doing really good and towards the end of our ride he started carrying it high again, is it because he got tired?
Most likely. If he never goes around with his head low and just started to do it today those muscles are probably pretty weak and it will take lots of practice for him to be able to hold it that way for your entire ride.
How would you fix a horses front leg if its just little sore ? But the horse is 16!
Well it would depend what is making it sore, you probably need a vet to look at it, or a farrier if it has something to do with its feet! But probably don't ride it ?
