I'm a newish your tuber and I was wondering if you all are public about your last name. Do you think it's safe to release that? I know if someone REALLY wanted to figure it out they probably could but I'm just not sure safety wise if I should be open about my last name. Thoughts?Thanks!Love you guys
I don't know it's kind of a personal preference, I don't care if people know my last name, what the barn I ride at is called, or what city I live in, I feel like the majority of people that watch our videos are like 14 year old girls who aren't much of a threat to my safety haha, I'm sure there's still a chance that someone creepy could get your information but it's probably not very likely!

Yeah you have to pick a registered name when you register a horse, I don't think it matters what it is, but usually people include a combination of either the sire or dam's name in it, it doesn't have to be the same as the barn name or show name I think it's more for identification purposes in the registry.

Can you explain what registration for a horse is? I'm confused
It's just like registering a dog or any other animal, usually the breeder registers their foals with the breed registry that they belong to so you don't usually have to do it yourself. I think it's basically meant to keep track of breeding history like who the dam and sire is etc but I have very limited experience with that sort of thing.

what are your main tips for starting riding at the age of 19 compared to growing up riding as a kid?
I kind of feel like it is easier to start when you're older in some ways because you have more strength to hold a correct position and get the horse to do what you're asking etc. But I think the most important thing with learning to ride in general is having a good trainer with horses that are at your level, and riding as often as possible!
First of all: CONGRATULATIONS WITH YOUR FIRST HORSE!!! He's sooo handsome!!! Second: there's one thing i don't understand...why did you guys buy your saddle before you bought your horse? Saddle's should be custom fitted to a horse's back so that it won't cause any problems over time
Thanks! Well we were originally planning on leasing so we just got a medium tree thinking it would fit a wider range of horses. We really aren't in the market for a custom saddle and to be honest I don't know many people that own them! Also we found our saddle used and we searched for so long to find one that was the right seat and flap length so we just had to buy it once we found it. But since it is a CWD if it doesn't fit we can trade it for a different one with the CWD rep in our area!
what do you think of the merlot smartpak piper breeches?
They are nice! If I were to buy a pair I would get the navy or charcoal ones though

For a registered name I think most people have part of the sire or dam's name in it!

Keep your legs long and back straight, and take your knee off the saddle, also you could just get into a half seat instead haha
When I make my channel I want to make social media as I know this help, but my mom won't let me have an ask.fm which sucks because I really want something where people with out social media accounts can contact me. She probably won't let me get a separate email either. I also don' have instagram.
