If I have them like 3000$ in bills at like the cwd stand at a show?

I don't think it would be weird, it might be easier/safer to put it on a credit card, but I'm sure people pay with cash all the time.

Where do you find all this info about cwd?

I've just done a lot of research before I bought one! The CWD website has a lot of info, also iselltack.com explains each saddle they have really well too.

How much would you say a slightly used, good condition grain, calf and Buffalo saddle would cost?

I don't know it would really depend on the saddle but probably $2000-$4000, grain is the cheapest, calf and Buffalo are more expensive

Can you please explain the sizing for cwd saddles like the tree flaps (the names) haha like pretty much everything! Also what's the average size that would fit a horse?

There's three main types of seat, SEO1 is a flat seat, SEO2 is semi deep and SEO3 is a deep seat, the flaps can be a C which means forward or an L which means long and then there are different lengths of those, a 2C is regular length and forward, 3C is long and forward, 2L is regular length and not very forward, 3L is long and not very forward etc. They come in a lot of different tree sizes but the most common are 3.5"-4.5", it really depends on your horse though there's not really an average size!

If the saddle fits the rider, would it fit the horse well? (I don't have my own horse I ride school horses?)

Nope, the seat size and flap length have very little to do with how well the saddle will fit the horse. The tree size is what matters for the fit of the horse, but if you get a medium tree if it doesn't fit perfectly you may be able to make it work with different half pads and stuff.

ive been riding in august and still don't know how to properly bridle a horse because it's either always done for me even though i'm always asking if i can learn. and also in my lessons i've barely learned to canter and haven't worked on my diagonals much. should i find a new trainer/barn in your op

Yeah, I mean if you've asked to learn how to put a bridle on and they still always do it for you. I would switch to a barn that wants their riders to learn how to be horsemen not just show up ride and leave.

what's Amelia vernon youtube ?

For some reason I can't find it anymore, I used to watch it like 4 years ago so it's probably deleted now :/

What is a working student?

Basically you work at the barn doing things like, cleaning stalls, turnout, feeding, tacking up, exercising horses, but you don't get paid money, you get riding time and training for free, and usually more showing opportunities. You're basically like the trainers assistant/apprentice I think haha, it's probably a little different at every barn though.

Do you even think that's possible for me? I'm just going into highschool, and am going to start riding again after having to take a break. I haven't ridden for too long, but I've learned a lot through books and videos and stuff. Do you think I can gain enough skill within those 4 years?

Four years is plenty of time to gain enough skill if you have a good trainer and good horses to ride! You should definitely be taking consistent lessons and possibly get a summer job as a working student or a groom in your area to gain more experience and references. You also probably need to be actively showing at some of the bigger shows so you have experience in that type of show environment!

Please help! I can't find the effax leather cleaner anywhere in Canada could u tell me where I could get it?

What area of Canada do you live in? in BC you can get it at the Abby Saddle Shop and the Dog and Pony Shop, I'm not sure of anywhere on line that ships in Canada!!

I have a long term goal to move to Wellington Fl, or around there and get a good working student position at a barn there. How would you say I should go about making connections there to make it easier to move and get a position?

Probably figure out which barns you're interested in and email the trainers there with a resume of your skills etc.

But like if I don't have a horse there to it be fitted to.

Yup I think it's fine! they will probably let you take one on a trial, and you can still sit in it to see how it fits you :) they just know everything there is to know about them so they'll be able to help you find the right one, even if they don't have it there!

I dont know if you remember but i had problem with my horse and i was not confident to jump her higher than 2feet... But i did listen to your advises and yesterday was the best day of my life!! She was so good and perfect we even jumped 2'9" no problem and with confidence!! Thanks you so much?

Yay! great to hear! ? No problem ?

I'm looking in buying a used cwd. Would it be weird if I go to the cwd stand at tbird and buy a saddle? Haha

Nope! I think that would be a great idea! :)

Can u list some smaller eq youtubers around 500 subscribers or below that I could subscriber to? I rly want to find new channels

I like Elizabeth.Jumper01 and Jordyn and Waverly, I'm not sure who else has less than 500 subscribers I don't keep track! :)

Which website or app do you use first in the morning?

Instagram, email, Facebook, YouTube usually in that order ?

top 5-10 youtube riders? Like equestrian youtubers that you think are really good riders! And I would really appreciate it if you would actually give me your feedback and not just say no :)

Eddiesgun91, Hannahlucy, Amelia Vernon, AlfusAlly, Dalekthehorse, Avery Sharp, these are based purely on riding ability most of them don't make the typical equestrian youtuber videos ??

How's Rumour been?

Really good :) he's the best! We've only had him for 2 months now but he really is the perfect horse for us. Safe, but definitely not boring, we still have tons of stuff to work on!
