I didn't know nurses got paid more than average? I know it's a difficult job but I thought it paid about the same as a nutritionist (what I'm studying) or a psychologist? You know, other jobs in the same branch.
Yes but because nurses work 12 hour shifts, holidays, and overtime there is potential to make more.
I need career advice! How did you guys know you wanted to be RNs?
Honestly, we pretty much based our decision on how much money you could make. Which isn't always a good idea. We just picked like 3 courses we were interested in, then eliminated some based on how much school was required and which high school courses were required to get into the program ect. Then I think it was between nursing and radiology tech but nursing was more likely to have better job opportunities and make more money so that is what we chose. If you can decide what college or university you want to go to then it narrows down your choices based on what that school offers.
lalala I have a second interview with greenhawk tomorrow (today for me) and I'm suuuper nervous haha. I was the one who asked for advice on what to wear last time, so thanks :)
Oooh makes sense. I don't own any shipping boots so I probably won't be much help. Weatherbeeta is a good brand though so even if they are a little pricey you should get what you pay for.
What float boots do you have or recommend? I was looking at weatherbeeta ones but they kinda expensive? Thoughts??
What are float boots?
do you take dressage lessons/flat lessons?
We don't take dressage lessons but the first half of every lesson is flat work and then if everything goes well then we jump. If there is still stuff that needs to be fixed on the flat then we just don't jump that lesson and flat for the whole thing.
do you find that tailoreds fit baggy? I'm a tall/small person :P
No I think they fit pretty true to size!
does rumour have his lead changes?
He is so automatic it's laughable, I'm not even sure I know how to ask for a lead change properly because he just does it, he probably couldn't counter canter to save his life ??
Do you like when people have there horse framed the whole time when they ride?
Well I think that is usually the goal, to have your horse carry themselves correctly and in a "frame". It's not right to hold your horse in a frame though!
Do you like gaited horses? If so what do you like about them?
I've never ridden one before but I like the look of Tennessee Walkers.
How is Rumour doing lately?
Really good! We are jumping 2'6 courses on him now! He's such a good boy, most of the time! Lol
Do you think I could get good times on a 13.2 horse in western games ?
The height of the horse doesn't really determine how fast it can go, ponies can be really fast because they can make tight turns and take short cuts that other horses can't ?
I saw you wanted a Rambo cooler and Dover has it on sale this week. Here is the code RD-24815. Just type it in the search.
Cool thanks!
How old are you guys
23 ?
I want to buy a pair of TS breeches! I'm a size 2 in jeans, 5'3 what size do you think I need? I can't find a sizing chart!
You would be a 24 probably.
What is your favorite thing about summer?
That it ends.
I just splurged a teeeeeny tiny bit on the eskadron seasonal range (saddle pad + polo's) in petrol. There goes this month's allowence ? (+last month's as well lol). But it's so gorgeous so it's worth it ?
I'm going to buy a halter soon, I don't have my own horse but I usually ride a couple of different horses. What halter size (out of Pony, Cob, Full, and Warmblood) would you recommend for me to get? I usually ride 3 different horses: a small horse, a medium horse, and a fairly big horse xx?
Show jackets for hunters and equitation typically should only have 3 buttons. But if you're not going to be that competitive and not do that many horse shows you probably could get away with it
Oh I didn't know the judges counted how many buttons were on your jacket, thanks for the tips!
