I'm on my fourth lesson and I'm still not comfortable tacking up. I'm scared to do it wrong but i look stupid infront of my trainer asking .do you have any advice?
You shouldn't feel stupid! Usually if I don't know what I'm doing (like the first time I used a martingale or a figure 8 bridle) I just put it on how I think it should be and then just ask my trainer to check it before I get on. If you're new to riding or haven't done something before then there's no reason to feel silly if you do it wrong, how are you supposed to know until you try?! ?
You seem to have a lot of experience with Tailoreds so I'll ask you this ? Do they have breeches without the velcro bottoms? I really despise those aha! ?
op on using whatever washroom the public feels like?
?? If someone is genetically a male but identifies as female they should be able to use the women's washroom.
Tips on picking up the right lead when cantering ?
Start on a circle, put your outside leg back, kick the pony!
When you want to wash the ecogold flip half pad do you just throw it in the wash? Or do you take the fillers out?
You can just throw the whole thing in the wash, it might take longer to dry with them in though!
Any tips to build shoulder muscle for a naturally downhill pony?
You should ask a trainer because I don't really know for sure, but if the pony is already down hill you would think you would want to avoid gaining more muscle in the shoulder and focus on gaining muscle in their back and hind end so they can reach under better and be lighter! ?
Omg I'm so glad you guys call it gymnastics, I said it at my barn and everyone thought I was insane ?
When you are in a normal ride, do you jump higher or lower than what you show? Or is it the same height for both?
Sometimes higher sometimes lower. If we're working on something more difficult in a lesson or doing gymnastics or something the jumps are usually lower so we can focus on doing it well without worrying about the height of the jump.
