how do you measure a horse to find out what blanket size it is?

You measure from the centre of their chest to the middle of their tail and subtract 4 inches

what blankets do you have for rumour?

Too many, he has the Rambo original turnout with leg arches which is basically a rain sheet, he has a light weight plaid Shedrow and a medium weight dark blue/grey Shedrow. A rhino original plus turnout which is a medium weight with a neck cover, and then his Rambo new market cooler! Oh and another Shedrow rain sheet.

On instagram you commented about some drama on a crazy woman's post. Who were you talking about? No hate, just curious :)

We bought Rumour's new blankets from a girl on Facebook who was selling a lot of other stuff too, and some woman commented on the post and was trying to start drama saying that the girl said she would meet up and didn't show up, it was really silly ?

Rumours blanket looks pretty big

The cooler is a little big in the front, I don't think we had it pulled back enough either though, but I think a size down would have been too small!! Plus we got it for like 1/3 of the price so can't complain ?

What are the things you need to do for your horse YOURSELF? (i.e, worming, etc.)

You technically don't need to do anything yourself ? if you have a vet and your horse is at a full board facility. The main things a vet would do are teeth, and vaccines, and sometimes sheath cleaning, the only other thing is shoes which the farrier does, and deworming which our trainer does ?

I am trying to keep my hands off my horses neck but it is hard to keep my balance. Any tips?

Try keeping your heels down and your leg underneath you. It's easy for your leg to get out in front of you and it's hard to keep your balance that way. It will get easier the more you ride it just takes lots of practice!

I think Jin makes a couple of diffrent stirrups but the Wildkart (the one you have) is by far the most popular

Yes I think you are right, I believe Wildkart is the brand and Jin is the type ?

A half halt comes from your seat actually! Keep the same contact as normal, but think of it as stopping the motion of your body for a brief moment, then when the horse responds, go back to moving along with the motion.
