Also ecogold isn't the best for horses with high withers

Yeah if your saddle is already close to the withers the ecogold will make it much worse

Ogilvy or Eco gold? Why?

You really can't go wrong with either, in my opinion ecogold is probably better if you have more saddle fit issues because it's so thick and would provide extra support if your saddle has pressure points or something. But if your saddle is already on the narrow side then it will probably be too thick because it really doesn't compress that much, it definitely makes our saddle and girth fit tighter. The Ogilvy is good if your saddle already fits pretty well because it compresses quite a lot once you sit on it, and it's better for the close contact feel that some people prefer compared to the ecogold, but it obviously doesn't provide the same shock absorption that the ecogold does. It really depends what you need in a half pad, it's impossible to say which is better because they serve different purposes, you're getting your monies worth out of both of them in my opinion.

How do you know if your spurs are on the right feet?

The spurs themselves don't have a specific foot they should go on until you put the straps on, then the buckle of the strap should go on the outside of your foot! Hopefully that makes sense ?

Yeah I'm pretty open about that stuff if people ask. It doesn't bother me. Yes we are extremely lucky that we had our school paid for so we don't have a ton of expenses!

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just curious. But how do you guys afford a horse? You've got two cars (Mini and jeep?), I assume you live somewhere by yourselves, and graduated (student debt?) How do you manage all that $$? ?

We are both nurses so we make a decent wage. We actually share a house with our mom so our rent is fairly inexpensive. We also don't have a monthly payment on the jeep. And luckily our Dad paid for our University. ??

why did u guys put romer in a different paddock

Rumour had to move so Paul could have his paddock. Paul was being too playful with everyone so he had to take Rumour's old paddock because it's on the end so he would be away from the other horses ?
