my parents are not supportive at all about horses , they say it's not a sport and I have to scrounge for money to even ride one a week , riding is my passion, how do I get my parents to understand that?

I really don't know. If you pay for everything that sort of is showing them you're dedicated. Try to get a job cleaning stalls in exchange for riding time to help save money!?

I'm 14 years old and don't have a boyfriend. I feel like I am mature enough to have one. my parents do not approve. HELP

Well for one I wouldn't ask my parents permission to have a boyfriend. Seems strange. 14 is pretty young to be involved in anything serious though so just have fun!

Do you have any tips on how to balance in half seat without gripping onto the horse's mane?

Make sure your leg is underneath you and not out in front or behind you.

I'm 14 & want to get my belly button pierced! My parents are strict asf, they are also high key Christians.. Any ways to convince them to let me get it done? ( I'll pay for it of course lol)

Wait till you're 16

How much do you think l should pay for a horse that jumps 2ft, and competes in level low dressage?

No clue, depends where you live and who's selling it.

How tall is your horse and how tall do you think is "too tall"

16.2 and anything over 17.1 is too tall for me

Do you smoke, drink, do drugs? What's one thing you wouldn't do?

I would never smoke or do drugs but I drink occasionally

Hi! What should you do when a horse is lame? Also do you have any tips for finding out if a horse has gone lame? I mean when it is hard to tell.

Call a vet to find out the source of the lameness. Trot them on a hard surface.

So I have a problem... I like this guy a lot and he makes me feel amazing about myself but me talking to him makes my friend upset because she feels like she's not going to find someone should I stop talking to the guy?

No just make sure you don't drop your friends just because you have a bf ?

I pay $200 to lease my horse three times a week ,our arena is small and threre is only one arena . is it unreasonable ?

Sounds fine

In regard to the Bute less web link I sent you. Do you use this every day? Or do you just use it when you exercise the horse hard?Do you think that stuff actually works? Do you know how often you use it?

I have no idea you'd have to do some more research about it. Doesn't sound like something I would feed my horse though. I don't think Absorbine is known for making things for horses to eat so this product is sort of strange to me. Try MSM or glucosamine.

Hi! When you're counting strides, do you just guess were the last three strides will be before the jump? And then count backwards from three?

You usually only count strides when you're going through a line and know the number of strides it's set at, if you are just jumping a single jump you should just count your canter so it stays the same pace like 1 2 3 1 2 3,
