Do you recommend the professionals choice girth you have?

Yes we love it! The elastic is so stretchy so it's really easy to do up, and any hair or dirt on it just brushes right off! It also seems like it would by comfortable for the horse because the material is quite squishy and stretchy but Rumour hasn't figured out how to talk yet so he can't tell me his opinion :) I probably wouldn't buy any other girth though it's great quality for the price.

How often do you get to out to the barn and see Rumour? Do you ride every time you go there or do you just visit sometimes?

We go to the barn everyday, we usually only ride him 5 days a week, the other 2 days we just go to clean his stall and usually walk him around and let him graze etc.

Do you know of any particular online tack shops that are quick with shipping and have good customer service besides Smartpak and Greenhawk?

Not really I think smartpak is the best with shipping and customer service, I haven't really ordered from many other online tack stores!

if i am going to be helping out at the barn and not riding after, what do you think i would wear? thanks. Im thinking either riding breeches (like a regular riding outfit) or nike shorts or jean shorts?? I'm not sure... :)

Yeah I'd probably stick with breeches, unless it's really hot out then wear jean shorts!

how many people are you subbed to??

I think around 120 or something, I'd say more than half of them don't make videos consistently though and there is probably only about 10 channels that I watch on a regular basis.

Advice on collegiate saddles?

I've never ridden in one but I think they are fine quality for the price, I would just stay away from saddles that have a changeable gullet system but that's just my opinion!

Any experience with My Barn Child? Do you think their products are good/worth the money?

I've never owned any of their products but I haven't heard anything bad about them, I think they are pretty comparable to other bridle charm brands.

If you worked at a summer camp (at the barn) what would you wear? (Riding appropriate as I would ride after)

Probably just breeches and a polo shirt, and probably bring your riding boots and wear separate barn boots that are better for walking around/getting dirty.

Do you know the girls that previously owned Rumour?

There was just one woman that owned him but never rode him, he was basically on free lease to the barn he was at and then other girls leased him from them, we met one of the girls that used to ride him when we picked him up! And there's a couple others that I know from Instagram.

Have any of the girls that rode/leased Rumour asked to come ride him? Would you be open to that? (I'm not one of the girls I was just curious because of some experiences I've heard of)

None of them have asked but if they really wanted to I probably wouldn't be opposed to it!

I want to show at tbird but I don't know if I'm ready. Is it really big and competitive?

Nope! They have less competitive shows in the winter/spring, but if you just enter the lower level classes at any of the shows it should be fine :)

Do you know where you can order TS breeches from?

Greenhawk, Dover, Smartpak, The Tack Shoppe, Farm House Tack, lots of places :D

to the person saying your saddle doesn't fit; that's what ogilvy is for!!!

Alex Van de Sande
Haha yeah, I don't understand how they think they can tell from a picture that our saddle doesn't fit, especially when there is adequate wither clearance and the saddle is completely level so I don't know what they're complaining about :)

To all the people telling them what to do with THEIR horse! I'm pretty sure you should just mind your own business bc you don't know anything about rumors behavior/ needs. They have it under control and don't need you telling them what to do.

Thanks :)

Also get a smaller bit his bit is to big and its probally uncomfortable and that saddle DOSENT fit him eithier

His bit is not too big we tried two different sizes and kept the one that fit the best. I don't think a bit that is too big would necessarily be uncomfortable, steering may be less accurate but whatever. Do seriously think you can tell if a saddle fits from a picture? Don't be ridiculous.

You bought rumour he was never a naughty horse he never bit anyone but now he is biting you there's somthing wrong with that picture, and it wasn't because he was in the schooling string cause he wasn't he had a few leasers that he loves and they took lovely care of him, maybe learn how to ride

And he's not a naughty horse now. Most horses will try to test new people to see what they can get away with, he has never bitten anyone since that one occasion because he now knows he can't get away with it. That's great that his leasers took good care of him, we were just saying he was ridden by different people from year to year so there may have been lack of consistency, which is to be expected with any lease horse. We know how to ride. I'm sorry anon if you are mad that we bought him but you don't need to be rude.
