Does the neatsfoot oil help for softening bridles??

Yes it should, but it can also darken leather so if you don't want that be extra careful to apply thin layers.

Review on feibings saddle soap

Never used it before! We have their neatsfoot oil though and it's good.

why don't you like horseman's one step cleaner

It leaves the leather feeling sticky and I'm just not a fan of one step products in general I guess!

What, in your opinion, was the worse equine related purchase you made? (Can be a certain type of brush, pad, etc)

Reid
Definitely Horseman's one step leather cleaner, and likit treat bars ?

what's your opinion on rubber footing for arenas??

Never ridden at a barn that had rubber footing but it is one of the higher end options for footing, it provides more cushion and tends to be less dusty than regular sand footing. I'm pretty partial to the silica footing they have at thunderbird though ?

Preppy brands you recommend? That sell apparel, bridle charms, etc. ? (I know Shop Hunt Club, and MBC)

Crystallize Equestrian makes some unique bridle charms! Check out their Instagram

When you where looking for a horse, was it for lease or sale? If it was for lease was Rumor just the perfect price, situation, etc? I think you guess make an awesome team!

Reid
We initially were looking for a free lease but couldn't find anything in our area, so we started looking for horses that were for sale to see if anything was in our price range, there still weren't many options within our budget and with the experience level we wanted so when we found Rumour he was pretty much the only horse that fit all of our criteria so we bought him ? thanks! ?❤️

Thank u so much for the help again! I have really no one to ask horsey questions to

No problem :) if you can, it would be good to have a professional out once you get your saddle just to make sure it fits. If you have a trainer they should be able to help you too.

Thank u so much for the review on the saddle I appreciate it !☺️☺️ and for the tree size could i just get half pads to make it more comfortable

No problem! Yeah you should be able to us a half pad to help it fit better if it's a bit too wide! ?

Can u look up a pic pf the HDR memor- x close contact saddle and tell me what u think ?

It seems like a good saddle for the price. People also seem to like it based on the reviews. The only thing that slightly worries me is that it only comes in a regular tree or wide so there's not a lot of customizability as far as tree size goes but if one of those fits your horse I guess it's all good :)

To get an OTTB or not? ???

I would if you think you have enough experience to retrain them or at least have help from a trainer ?

I agree w/ you about Raleigh and I choose not to keep up with her, but I was watching other youtubers and saw that she literally has a video saying "why I don't ride with a helmet" which kind of infuriates me because she's promoting not wearing a helmet to thousands of people... ?

Yeah it's not good. At least she doesn't take her own advice and actually does wear a helmet in some of her jumping videos :/

Thoughts on samshields?

I like them on other people. I'm not sure how I feel about them on myself. Compared to a gpa it felt really round and heavy but it was very comfortable.

What do you think of Raleighlink14?

I'm not answering any more questions about her, scroll down if you really want to know.

on Dover you can by the speed air for $599

Oh that's a pretty good price :) I want the First Lady though. And once converted to Canadian dollars plus shipping it might not even be that much better.

Do you think it would be easier to get farther in the eventing world than the showjumping world? Or Vice Versa?

I think both would be equally hard. Show jumping may be slightly more competitive, at least where we live, because there are a lot more jumper shows than eventing.
