i just bought a cheap belt from target for a schooling show. i rode in it and it was fine, but i think leather would fit better because the one i got was a weird material that didn't really fit me nicely. would you recommend investing in a good, leather belt?

Yeah I think so. You only really need one belt and they don't get worn out really so a good quality one should last you a very long time so I think it's worth it :)

Where is your belt from that you are wearing in your most recent video?

It's a tailored sportsman belt :) I think it's called "gravy train" and I got it at Smartpak.

If u only ride him 2 times a week, do u have ppl ride him for u?

We usually ride 6 days a week, we just only take a lesson once a week, we still ride the other days just without our trainer.

If so, how? Do u have a trainer?

Yup we have a trainer, we each take one lesson a week, and we are planning to show next year!

What EQ youtubers do you watch consistently?

It kind of changes depending on who uploads a video that I find interesting, but really just Grace, Erica, AdrianaCanJump, EddiesGun91 I will watch no matter what they post.

Are u guys in highschool or college? Are u planning on riding in college? What colleges? Bc I rly want to but I want to also get a good business education and study equine studies. Any ideas?

We have already graduated from university and are both RNs. No we did not ride in college and I'm not sure of which schools would be good for that as we live in Canada and there aren't too many that offer a riding program or team.

Your horse seems rlyyy stiff in your recent video. When we is walking down the aisle, he back legs are not at a relaxed natural gait. U might want to get that checked out. There is a condition called "tied up" where horses become stuff and their muscles tighten due to drastic change in weather

Yes we know. He has arthritis in his hocks and that's why he kind of waddles when he walks. Once we ride him around and his joints warm up it is far less noticeable and not noticeable at all at the trot or canter. Thanks for your concern :)

I am going to start leasing a Mae this smear and I was wondering what to do with her. We are not aloud to jump without a trainer so I really don't know what I should work on. Any ideas?

Sitting trot, trotting and cantering without stirrups, trotting and cantering poles, when cantering two poles try lengthening the stride one time and then collect the canter and add a stride, you could even canter a whole course of jumps but just as ground poles to practice your steering. Also it's good to practice leg yielding at the walk and trot.

I want my futur horse to be an eventer! And my first choice was to breed my clydesdale with a thoroughbred or any other breed. Second choice was to buy an other horse but their are so expensif or get a of the track thoroughbred. Do you recomende any breed with my clyde, or what would you do? Thanks!

If given the choice I would always say never breed because there are already way too many unwanted horses in the world. I would definitely consider an OTTB if you want to event as they can be very successful at it and many of the eventers who compete at Rolex ride OTTBs.

I seen your smartpak haul and I wanted to ask, does the rubber grooming mitt smell strange? I have one and it stinks so I wanted to try the kind you got, is it okay?

I wouldn't say it smells strange but it definitely has a strong rubber smell.

How much would you be willing to pay for shipping? I thought Smartpak shipping at like $9.00 was a lot but it's flipping almost $13.00 for damn shipping at Dover. I hate to pay that much but I guess I have to cause the helmet I'm trying to get is not held at Smartpak.

Yeah living in Canada we are used to expensive shipping. If it was something I really wanted and couldn't get anywhere else I would pay up to $20 for shipping but I've probably paid a lot more before lol.

how to clean leather paddock boots and half chaps for a schooling show?

I just use soap and water and then apply a leather conditioner after

How did you find the place that smartpak can ship to and then you pick it up? Do you know if they can then ship it elsewhere?

The place we use is called Ship Happens, but there are a lot of different places if you just google it! I think you have to pick your packages up yourself at the place we use but there might be others that ship.
