Walau gue ga selalu setuju

Oh believe me, I'm not even that smart, I just like to read or browse random things. Dan, gue gak masalah banget kalau ada yang gak setuju atau apa sama pemikiran gue, karena itu wajar banget kan, semua orang punya pemikiran masing-masing and I try to respect them selama mereka gak tiba-tiba dateng untuk bego-begoin gue sambil ngomong kasar untuk nunjukkin pendapat mereka yang ironically juga belom tentu bener. So if you're chill, then I'm chill. That's my natural reaction for anything.
Pemikiran para filsuf, ilmuwan, cendekiawan, dan bahkan nabi aja masih banyak yang gak setuju, apalagi saya yang cuma remahan meses coklat.

Hmmmm dari abang gue kali ya? Waktu gue SD, abang gue udah SMA dan hobinya nonton MTV sama main gitar, Waktu itu sih gue sebel kalau dia nontonin MTV Asia Hit List, semacam acara music chart gitu, karena acaranya lamaaa banget, dan gue pengen nonton yang laen tapi gak boleh. Akhirnya ya udah gue nonton, terus malah jadi tau lagu-lagunya Alanis Morrisette, Garbage, Cardigans, dan musik 90an lainnya. Sementara pas di sekolah kaya temen gue taunya lagu anak-anak doang atau lagu Indonesia. Terus abang gue suka main gitar, suka beli kaset-kaset indie, beli majalah musik ya udah gue ikutan baca juga. Pas SMP gue keterusan nonton MTV melulu and basically my source of pop cultures. Di SMA, gue langganan majalah MTV Trax, sama majalah-majalah Bandung kaya Ripple, Jeune, Fabric gitu dan jadi tau banyak band-band indie lokal dan luar. Pas kuliah, masuk UKM radio UI jad Music Director dan ketemu anak-anak divisi Muic DIrector lain yang pengetahuan musiknya pada gila-gila juga, saling pamer referensi musik, cepet-cepetan cari band indie baru, makin-makin deh gue.

What are your top 5 favorite LGBT-themed films of all time and what in your opinion makes those films special?

Honestly, I haven't watch LGBT movies as much as I wanted to, so these are my fave LGBT movies that I actually watch and enjoy the storyline rather than just for the sex scene or anything.
1. Happy Together (Wong Kar-wai)
Because its beautiful. The mood, the narration, the scenes... I feel the despair of it.
2. To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything (Beeban Kidron)
I watch it on RCTI when I like 5th grade or something and I think its very funny, and really give me perspective about Drag Queen pageants and their vibrant spirit.
3. Milk (Gus Van Sant)
I learn a lot of American gay culture history from this movie.
4. Arisan! (Nia Dinata)
I think its one important Indonesian movie that brings the LGBT theme with pop, current, and light approach rather than just dealing with AIDS, discrimination, or heavy stuffs like that. It makes LGBT topic seems approachable for new generation.
5. Lovely Man (Teddy Soeriaatmadja)
Its not a perfect film because at some parts it feels to dramatic and unreal, but I enjoy the acting performance, and the interesting relation between a transexual guy and his daughter.
Next on my movie list:
Paris Is Burning (Forgive me Father, because I haven't watch it on my entire life.)

Apa ya... aku jarang ngopi sih karena lebih suka beer honestly.
Aku kalau hari Minggu gak ada kerjaan suka gabut baca buku sendirian di Starbucks Sarinah, abis itu jalan-jalan sendiri makan ke Sabang atau GI/PI. Djournal Coffee di GI juga jadi spot favorit buat aku sih karena bisa ngerokok.
Monolog PIM enak kok.
Yesterday Lounge di Antasari enak untuk rame-rame sama temen.
Beezy Kaffee di Dharmawangsa sebetulnya enak, tapi suka rame sama gerombolan anak SMA, berisik.
Coffee Institute di Gunawarman kocak sih, waktu itu dateng kesana sama temen2 buat nonton pengumuman pemilu, eh gak taunya di sana lagi ada nobar pemilu dari pendukung Prabowo. Awkward, haha.
Aku penasaran belum pernah ke Woodpecker Coffee di Pangpol sih, kalau dari instagramnya @woodpeckerjkt kayanya menarik.

Menurut aku sih tetap orangtua dan keluarga yang harus bertanggungjawab dengan perkembangan si kecil ya. Di TV emang banyak acara lokal yang gak bagus untuk ditonton (YKS, Dahsyat, acara hipnotis, etc), dari mulai bercandaan fisik, goyangan erotis, sampai umpatan-umpatan yang segitu gamblangnya disiarin langsung dan ditonton anak kecil dari pagi sampai malam. Harusnya pinter2 orangtua lah yang ngawasin apa yang ditonton anaknya, jangan karena gak mau repot ya anak disuruh nonton TV seharian dan pas anaknya nanya ini itu yang ia tangkap dari tv, orangtua males ngejelasin. Itu pun juga sebetulnya kurang sih, karena seketat-ketatnya kita jaga anak atau adik kita, mereka pasti bakal terpapar dengan hal-hal itu di lingkungan sosial juga kaya temen-temen main mereka atau di sekolah. The least we can do, kita ajarin basic sopan santun dan budi pekerti lah dari mereka masih kecil dan dalam pengawasan kita. Faktor lingkungan sih yang paling berpengaruh untuk anak kecil.
