Aku sih overall puas. SPOILER ALERT:
Walau ada beberapa pertanyaan yang belum terjawab dan ending yang seakan mengisyaratkan jika Dee mungkin berencana menulis sekuel soal Peretas Puncak, aku merasa IEP adalah keping penutup yang bagus untuk Akar, Petir, Partikel, dan Gelombang... Karena menurutku KPBJ itu lebih ke prekuel sebelum cerita utama yang dimulai di Akar.
Aku juga nggak menemukan kesulitan untuk mengingat siapa saja tokoh-tokoh buku sebelumnya yang muncul lagi di IEP and enjoy their respective roles, whether as harbinger, infiltrant, or sarvara. Walaupun, again, ada tokoh-tokoh yang sayangnya tidak muncul lagi seperti Nicky Evans misalnya atau Rana (yang ternyata salah satu Peretas juga, walau gak tau kekuatannya apa sebagai Puteri... Damsel in distress?).
Pertanyaan yang paling mengganjal di buku ini adalah nasib Diva (Bintang Jatuh) dan maksud pertemuan antara Bong dan Ferre.
Selain itu, aku suka banget alurnya cepat, kaya lagi nonton film. I enjoy every moment dan chemistry semua tokohnya. Aku beli buku ini waktu hari Sabtu minggu lalu, bela-belain mampir ke Kinokuniya jam setengah sepuluh malam. Sampai di rumah baca sampai jam tiga pagi, tidur lima jam, dan lanjut baca sampai selesai (around 3 PM). banyak adegan yang bikin aku menahan napas dan gak sabar baca kelanjutannya, yet at the same time I want to devour each page with utmost concentration.
Sebagai penulis, Dee berhasil punya pakem sendiri dan self-discipline yang kuat untuk plot dan alurnya. Dia bikin moodboard, target deadline harian, dan plot dalam bentuk post it notes yang ditempel di papan, very systematic, dan hasilnya menurut aku berhasil. Pace di IEP terasa pas naik turunnya.

One thing to prepare before you coming out, you need a backup plan if the worst scenario happens (your parents kick you from house, etc), you need to back up yourself. Unless you have close person that you can depend on (beside yourself), its a risky business.
