"Ire" suggests more intensity than anger and is only used in formal speech, "anger" suggests less intensity and is normally used in colloquial speech. Though it's 2015 and almost nobody uses "ire", even in formal speech. "Fury" and "wrath" have replaced "ire" even though they're not the same.

How do you choose your alternate colors? I think it's usually a more colorful border and maybe a slightly less pale white for the main, sometimes? Is there a method?

When one character speaks over another while they're still talking, should the second's line be an8-ed or be given a slightly altered color arrangement? Or official subs' -- double dash appended to the start of each line to differentiate it from a two-liner or whatever it is they usually do?
i do the former because the double dash thing looks awful

dread is more like you know something's going to happen and you're really not looking forward to it
