That'd just make it worse. You can't really fix blending.

Yeah, I like it a lot (enough to buy the BDs and sub them!) so I hope other people will enjoy it too. And I dunno, that's up to the others to decide.

Is there actually a point in encoding cr sources? Isn't it already compressed by cr? Kinda like people like final8 who encode already encoded raws? Doesn't it just make the quality even worse?

Well, you could say the same about TV, really. The point is in the filtering.
Re-encoding 1080p CR down to 10bit 720p with a debanding filter and whatever else is necessary will pretty much always look better than the straight 720p CR rip.

Who translated the German for UTW's UBW? Because the translation seems really stiff. Not that the German makes much sense at all.

fnord. And yes, it's a pretty literal translation, but I imagine that's kind of the point given the original text is awkward to begin with.
