I can't turn anything off with the "NVIDIA Control Pannel". I can just change "Other applications control colour settings" to "use NVIDIA settings". I've the same, only that I use xy-subfilter instead of xy-vsfilter. Should I calibrate my monitor with madVR (when yes, how?) ?

Dunno, sorry. I guess just make sure you're actually using madVR because it really shouldn't render colours like that. I don't have any experience with xy-subfilter either so I can't help you there, but rendering at desktop res instead of video res will probably make the subs too sharp.

So I can't trust Brain's reviews on Not Red Reviews either because he don't know Japanese as well?

He hasn't written a review in years so you may want to find more current ammunition for the point you're trying to make here

Turn off any 'graphic enhancements' in your GPU options. Beyond that I don't know. I'm using the standard CCCP setup (with plain xy-vsfilter) and madVR installed on top of that and everything looks fine.

http://puu.sh/jeCrv/e87bcf5570.jpg - Do you know why the japanese is so sharp, but the typeset isn't? That's not just kdfss' Himouto, it's with every sub I've watched. I'm sure I need to change some settings, do you know what settings? It sucks to have so blurry typeset with a sharp picture.

I dunno, some kind of image enhancement setting in your GPU or renderer? The colours don't seem right either.

Is is wrong to watch Himouto only for the epic typeset?

Nope. There are a couple shows I basically only watched for the subs.

What do you think for kokujin-kun's reviews and Dark_Sage's reviews? Which one should I trust more? Are both good/bad? Sometimes there are difference between Nyaa's A+ and Dark_Sage's reviews, which one is more trustworthy? Want to hear your opinion, because you're a good editor.

I would trust kokujin-kun's reviews because he actually knows Japanese. Basically everything else on the site can be ignored.
You'll notice his assessments are also in line with the NT A+ far more often than Dark_Sage's because, again, he actually knows Japanese.

Well, I've a fansub for every anime that I watch this season. Durarara is the only exception. I can wait for my subs, I'm not the person that watch anime xyz on DayOne.

What extral ead-in and lead-out are you using when you're timing an anime?

I usually have like 100ms leadin and anywhere from 350 to 500ish leadout, but it depends. I usually prefer longer leadouts over lots of sub blinking.

I don't have it either. Like I said, I'm not involved in the typesetting, muxing, releasing, etc

there's always HS - No. Never in my life. I wait for good fansubs, even when it takes 2 years. I think positive, maybe in 2 years it's subbed by Vivid, who knows?

well, you may want to get used to it, because the number of HS-only shows is only going up each season
and who knows, really

How long does it take to time an episode?

Depends how much experience you have. Fast timers can finish in 20-30 mins (or ~15 if you have people to clean up after you). I take about an hour, usually.

Is eleven by the way. As you can see 11 is a multiple of 66 so even guessing you might get it right (obviously it's not because it's eleven but still). Although if you don't care that's fair enough, who am I to judge?
