Their translator, shark0week0, is doing Ilya 2wei for UTW, Rail Wars and Momo Kyun Sword for FFF, Sabagebu! for Anime-Koi and half of every Aldnoah episode for Vivid-Watashi. So yeah, he's a busy guy.
What's your go-to group for BDs?
I usually just get whatever the original group put out, even if they only did TV. I've been burned too many times by BD groups who didn't know how to shift and left the whole show full of 1-frame bleeds or thought it'd be a great idea to restyle all the dialogue with some shitty font. I've had to remux quite a few releases myself after downloading them just to fix styling, etc.
FFF, coldhell, and ANE (rip) are some of the few groups I'd trust to make BD releases from other people's subs without messing them up. Which isn't to say there aren't others out there, but I haven't personally experienced them.

Okay, firstly, Watashi is not Watakushi. That's a distinction you have to keep in mind because Watashi is a decent enough group whereas Watakushi is basically the new Hadena.
As for what's happening with the show, I believe it's still at the TL. He's doing like five other shows this season so I can only assume it'll get done when it gets done.

I'm still waiting for DxD New BDs from FFF ( ¬‿¬) What's the dealio with their BD stuff anyway? Do they have a separate group of people that work on BDs, similar to how DDY has BDY?
Nah, they're just side projects that various staff work on in their spare time. For that matter, I would be surprised if DDY had a whole separate team to work on BDs, but I don't really know anything about their inner workings.
Are groups like SEED and groups of provide encoded raws really bad? For instance, if, say, I wanted to use ReinForce raw for Gochuumon with your script, would it be significantly worse than if you yourself encoded the BDs?
Really depends on the raw group. Some still do encodes in 8bit at low bitrates / crappy settings without so much as a deband, and others do decent enough 10bit encodes. I guess you just have to compare to what's out there.

Can you give me tips on how to get into internet fights with Dark_Sage? For instance, I don't know his fansubbing history, so it's a lot harder to bring that sort of shit up. I can't provoke him very well.

I'm also trying to use this time to work on backlogged BD projects (not making a lot of progress there) and read as much stuff in Japanese as I can.
When I'm back at work I'll probably cut down to only doing 1 or 2 shows per season, and maybe then I'll have a bit more time to catch up on old shows and games.

Would recommend YnS. First season's episodes are only 3 minutes each, so you could watch the first season in no time. By the way, is your MAL updated? If so, how can you justify not having watch LoGH?

No Yama no Susume? Comfiest show of the season. Pretty solid list other than that. Although you're missing some of the good shows this season, like Rurumo and Rokujyouma. I think someone asked, but I can't remember -- which is your favourite this season?
Never watched s1 of YnS, and wasn't a fan of Rurumo/Rokujouma from what I saw of them.
Haven't decided on a favourite yet, but Zankyou is up there and I've pretty much busted a gut laughing at Sabagebu at this point. I'll see how I feel when the season's over.

I never really played any of the guitar simulations (GF, GH, RB guitar) enough to get good at them. I'm a little better with drums, but I'm mostly a IIDX/Pop'n player.

Akame, Aldnoah Zero, Barakamon, Hanayamata, Jinsei, P4 Golden, Nozaki-kun, Rail Wars, Sabagebu!, Sailor Moon Crystal, SAO2, Tokyo ESP, Tokyo Ghoul, Zankyou no Terror, and Glasslip (but only because I have to). Will probably just catch up on Space Dandy when the R1 BDs come out.

No, but he left his scripts to herkz, so hopefully things will turn out fine.

In the case of Monogatari I really don't think there'll be much of a difference (script-wise) outside of whose name is on the file. Futsuu does good work under any label.
