Would you mind elaborating on how bad CR's Haikyuu subs were? Were there many major translation errors? I want to pick it up but unfortunately, Commie has only subbed 8 episodes and I'm not sure whether they're planning on subbing the rest. HS is the only choice right now.

I think a lot of the fansubbing drama is caused by different motives on why you're fansubbing in the first place, can you explain a bit on your motives and the most common one or just correct me if I seem retarded.
I just fansub because it's fun and I take satisfaction in my work. No particularly deep reason there.
