Yes. png is lossless.
So avisynth saves all files as .bmp, but no screenshot comparison site supports that format, even bakashots which is where the guide using avisynth is from...
avspmod lets you save as png and a bunch of other formats

So un1u3 is Akari? Also, how come I can't open Commie files with Aegisub? For instance, I wanted to take a look at how they did some of the stuff in SOAII's OP, but when I try to open it in Aegisub, it says there is no subtitle track.
They use compression on the sub track. Need to use something like MKVcleaver (or remux without the compression if even that fails)
