When does Capitalization for names come into play when you address someone? This is something that has bugged me. Things like "Master, Sir, etc." Any of these forms of calling someone, but not by their given name.
my rule is to capitalise when the word is being used to directly address or refer to someone - as in, you could replace it with their name and it would still make sense
the exception is when it's just being used as a generic honorific or insult rather than an actual title ("Yes, sir", "Right away, ma'am", "Sup, bro", "Shut up, bitch") in which case I would not capitalise
