wow those mistakes on vivid's seraph.. what is your TLC even doing?

I imagine this is a troll question, but I feel like answering anyway: I think you'd have a hard time finding a script that no translator alive could nitpick.
In that list there's like one actual error (the curry thing) and one instance of potentially unclear wording (the gun thing). The rest is down to style and how you interpret the English - I think it should be pretty obvious that "good evening" is an acceptable translation for konnichiwa if said in the evening, for instance.
Anyway, I nonetheless welcome feedback from people if considering it will help make our script better, but don't think that just because someone disagrees with the way a line was translated necessarily means it's wrong.

also i think i somehow messed up installing madvr, what settings in mpc do i have to change?

Just the video output

when using madvr, should i have it as the default renderer for everything i watch, or just funi videos?

Yes. There's no reason to use the internal stuff over it

Just see this: http://puu.sh/h6Wyk.txt Some mistakes on Vivid, Owari No Seraph release.

I'll pass those along to the staff, though ultimately the script and translation are their call. I think it's a little silly to say the title shouldn't be translated in dialogue when it's written in official English right under every instance of the logo, though.

Why does FFF pick up so much? Is their group really that big?

Not really but Eien is some kind of workaholic

>https://twitter.com/Xythar/status/586020265429053440 Is this just for Funi stuff? Pretty sure mine is set to "Auto Detect" by default. Any other tips for improving video quality with MadVR? Already using NNEDI3.

Just for Funi stuff since players don't auto detect it correctly. And I dunno, I mostly use standard settings beyond that.

I have nothing against Puddi, but he should really improve his Japanese (because of his TL errors) I like his style though.

Sure I guess

>implying the government cares about you torrenting anime. It's not like the anime industry is pressuring foreign countries like Hollywood does, and CR/English licensing companies simply don't have to power to do so.

Well, someone I know got some ISP letters for torrenting TV Tokyo stuff, but I don't think it's going to be a widespread issue, no

Which VPN do you use? (what are the chances of getting caught torrenting anime as an Australian who doesn't use VPN?)

Oh, I don't use a VPN for that

I called TPG about my net keep dropping (was happening to a lot of people in my exchange) and as I explain the situation the filipino woman hung up

cool sto

>Wouldn't there be a noticeable box where the subs would be? - No, if the encoder is good enough. And I'm sure Vivid can handle it. They are the best active subgroup out there (UTW is dead). And thanks Xythar for being in my favourite subgroup ★~(◠‿◕✿)

No problem!
