I see you using WaniKani on Twitter; do you find their mnemonics effective? For the most part, I think they're alright (Their 下 mnemonic helps, but I recall being annoyed by 大, as you were too I think in regards to the synonyms), but I wanted another opinion/input on them.

Have you seen how bad Metroid Other M's dialogue is? I can't believe that one of the best localization companies in the business managed to churn out such dreck, all because they were forced to translate exactly the way the game's creator wanted them to (literal, stilted and nonsensical even).
